Jakester, Mine just went. Two factors that may or may not have influenced the fact that it went. A: when I went to reboot the last time one of the options was "Install updates then shut down" evidently I had some windows updates pending. Those were installed before I tried again. I am also trying to go from 1.05 to 1.15 AV (Macaffee) is disabled and it still will not verify. I even left it overnight in disgust and still nada. I have tried this process several times, even going so far as to cold boot, turn off AV, and go straight into the update routine and it still will not get past the verification step. Is there any way to take impulse out of the loop at this point? i.e. get the file that is downloaded and kick off the update manually w
