Obvious answer: After the holidays.
Oakwarrior
I don't seem to get this issue.
Niiice, thanks :) Hope you get your stuff worked out propa'
Certainly Cow, it's worth the wait. ^^ Not many of us are playing the game right now as it stands, because we're patiently waiting new material.
I'm playing in anticipation :p
This is really really nice. I'd love to see it in action.
Do we even know if the skill is even in yet? Last time I heard all the skill-trees have been reworked. And even if it is in, I think that the initial outcry (that UB is imbalanced) made a good point to them.
Unless there was a secret release of Beta 2 I'd say this thread is very redundant right now.
Not bad, a look at the singleplayer :) Now.. where's that Beta 2? :P
Today is the day then?

Seems like doing things different for the sake of being different. I like the simplified, easy accessability of Demigod, with the complexity placed on the demigod abilities. Hopefully, we get a real look at this soon instead of just making guesses.
What
Hopefully indeed.
Quoting Oakwarrior, reply 7Looks promising. Hopefully it's not all talk and no do, because singleplayer aspects are indeed overlooked these days. Also, shame that so little demigods are in the initial release, but I guess that'll improve over time... And beta 2 would be nice. I really don't feel a reasonable number such as 8 demigods is small. In many games you have class types and that works just fin
Definitely make them permanent.
Err.... People will rather play Demigod than LoL over DotA. So far, so horrible. If I get to try it out myself sometime, then I might change my mind if it is good enough. If it plays exactly the same as DotA then, why the fuck even bother? It doesn't even LOOK significantly better than DotA in the WC3 engine. Not to mention the current art direction looks like a basket of farts, at least when compared to Demigod (and even Warcraft (before WoW I mean).
I have the same thing with Rook and UC as well.

Sometimes I got a double-attack, similar to this bug. I shot one missile, but it did two consecutive amounts of damage. Frost form. EDIT: Silly me, it was the Mojind's Gloves ability.
Demigod will be inevitably a game which needs good APM. Not so much for the Assassins, but more for the Generals I'd guess, but definitely not 250APM. If you play out your cards nicely you won't need to twitch much anyways.
I'm not sure if I'm all for the anti-specific demigod Rings of Whatnot. Sure, it'll eliminate the possibility of a 1type demigod team, but uhh, wouldn't we want that possibility, maybe, you know, for fun? I understand that these COULD be made optional, but I'm not all convinced this is such a great idea. I would be more at home with items that reduce/buff general effects. Also, wouldn't items like Ring of Anti-Rook (for each Demigod, then), sound kind of ridiculous? Also, I wouldn't like the
Don't take what I say/write too literally :)
Great news, the article was appetite-whetting and the screenshot pantcreaming. REALLY can't wait :)
That's true :)
I'd say that discussing balance right now is a waste of breath sort of. Rook used to be really good, and now, not so good and UB is clearly OP, and everything will change with every version. Nevertheless, Rook, with the right items can be pretty tough at the moment.
Well, technically, items that give the dodge bonus work perpetually, even while stunned or frozen. I'd imagine that the Hopla suit would have the TB's projectiles bounce off. But that's just me. It's up to the big guys to decide.
