Can I still play in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Hi need some help I'm sorry if this quation was asked before but I cant seem to find anything so here it goes. I dont have internet access at home(I stay in a farming comunity) I bought TOA and recieved it in the post on disc and installed it, when I click on the icon to play a alert button pops up that tells me I must update DA to version 1.80 or higher before I can play TOA but then the game starts up and plays perfectly in my mind, I cant see any problems so far..
