Starbases should be in end-game statistics. Sheild upgrades should effect starbases. The new units should have their own unique qoutes. Starbases need a range boost. There should be a cap on the number of mines per gravwell. Mines should also be invisible. Scouts should detect mines across a much wider area.
1. Installed SINS with the physical copy of the CD. (NOT DOWNLOAD) 2. Purchased SINS: Entrenchment over Impulse, downloaded then installed via Impulse. If this is you, and the game is crashing on boot, you must do this to fix. 1. Open Impulse and click the MY GAMES tab. 2. Uninstall SINS: Entrenchment. 3. Open Add Remove Programs in Control Panel (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista). 4. Uninstall SINS 5. Open Impulse and and click

I installed Entrenchemment. I enjoyed it, loved the new content, but i decided to get rid of it because of the bugs and also because it crashed after 10 mins. Why is this? Things get worse. When I got rid of it, I uninstalled Sins, reinstalled and played it. As soon as I redownloaded the latest patch, sins does not work anymore. It crashes as soon as I click on the icon. The game works if it doesnt run through impulse. Ive got it working again but if i run it through impulse i

Why was the order of buttons for frigates, cruisers and capships changed? this is seems illogical. The old one made more sense as it was in order of power. Under research, why is there now a defensive category seperate to military and civic? In vanilla, the research tabs had 1 for military and 1 for civic each with 3 sub-categories. adding another military tab is inconsistant. It reminds me of

Scouts should reveal a much larger area of mines. The should be a limit on the no. of mines deployed at one time in any given gravwell. Mines should NOT be visible without scouts. In the case of the Vasari, Ruiners should have a limit as to how many mines they can deploy at a time. Kind of like how the Vulkoras can only deploy 3 seige platfroms at a time. If 1 extra mine is placed, then one mine will self-destruct.
Edit: Also, is the issue of Global Warming relevant? Must we have a looming death-threat hanging over our heads and widespread paranoia over an age of global warming, desertfication, firestorms & special holocaust, just to realize that our resources are finite and that we have to care for our now-global habitat?
That was exactly my point, you simply made it clearer.
EDIT 2: Just noticed that previous post about Venus being hotter than Mercury, as proof of the severe effects of CO2 on the climate. I would like to suggest that Venus may be hotter than Mercury, not because of the CO2, but because Mercury has no atmosphere and is thus unable to retain any heat. Earth, which only has ~15% CO2 in the atmosphere, would very likely be as hot as Venus if it were placed the same distance from the sun.
That was my post, but i
What I hate most is how so many ships have a response appropriate to a single soldier, like you'd find in Warcraft, not a ship with thousands of people aboard. They're always referring to themselves as "I", or "me". I know you're talking to an individual captain, but that's a flimsy excuse, because it's obvious that the lines weren't written with that in mind. Not to sound too harsh, but it's simply a failure of mindset on the part of the writer. They were thinkin
Temporary, yes. But, considering the amount of water on earth, it isn't going to go anywhere anytime soon. I never said that CO2 has no greenhouse effect - it does, and denying it would be stupid, as you point out so kindly. I also never said that coal burning doesn't cause pollution or that pollution isn't dangerous. What I said was that the water in our atmosphere will make it virtually impossible for additional CO2 to raise the temperature. Pointing out Venu
I've read that the eruption of Krakatoa put more polution and CO2 into the atmosphere the the sum total of human civiilization since the industrial revolution. It is egotistical to think that we humans can effect the global climate greater than nature itself. The local environment is another story, and I support lowering polution for better living. But not at the sacrifice of better living. How do you propose to power that computer you posted this message on, JuleTron? I
Also, I would like to point out that the earth's most prominent greenhouse gas is water. What this means is that as the earth gets hotter, more water will evaporate and form more cloud cover, reducing the amount of heat which reaches the earth's surface. Conversely, if the earth cools too much, then the water condenses and the cloud cover disappears, allowing the sun to reheat the earth. Hence, the earth's temperature is self-regulating and man-made global warming of any kind is a h
Microphasing Aura is the Vasari carrier's ability to teleport fighters, right? If so, at level 1 it has a 20% chance every 4 seconds to teleport. At level 2 it's 30% chance every 4 seconds, and at level 3 it's 30% chance every 3 seconds. Bit of an odd progression, but there you have it.
Thanks for the info! What is the point of levelling up microphasing aura? levelling it up doesn't increase range or duration was what does it actually do? Missile barrage seems OP IMHO. Just 1 ability can nearly kill entire fleets. Advent and Vasari cant only do comparable things with ability combos. So I think that its acuuracy should be greatly reduced. That way, the Akkan's Targeting uplink unlocks its true potential. Is this a good solution?

I dont understand what people are complaining about. Impulse works smoothly, its unobtrusive and it downloads at a decent speed. Impulse is great. Dont need to muck around with disks either. Whats wrong with that?

For the half of the same price, you get half the assload of illuminators that you can use to frack up the enemy saving up the assload for starbase.
