Forwarding Ports still required? in Demigod Technical Support Demigod Forums

My brother lives in a dorm and is unable to forward ports. Is it still necessary for playing online?

Custom games have been filling up in 5mins recently for me. I think they have pretty much fixed Impulse.

Pretty much everytime i try to join a custom game using Impulse, im able to connect to everyone pretty quick but once i sit in the lobby for a few minutes waiting for more people ill get a "Disconnected from Nat Faciliter" Msg. It ussually happens right as someone else joins the game. ive played a few games using Gameranger and it works fine, no lag or anything. Ive also checked all my ports with that port checker program and they are open.

I discovered it today, havent had any connectivity issues yet. http://www.gameranger.com/download/?GameRanger The only problem with it is that not enough legit people know about it. ATM its mostly people playing .091 but its still easyer to find a game of .93 on it than it is tryn to fuck with the mess that is Impulse atm.
