Hey Everyone, I also have this problem. The techs over a Stardock gave me the "delete, reinstall" mantra when I was having problems, so that is what I did. I completed deleted SR 1.3 and Reboot. Then I downloaded SR2 1.3 from D2Drive and installed it. Now, when I try to install SR2:Reboot I get the same msg "Missing Prerequisite program: You need to install Space Rangers 2." The same msg as KingBobCat. In the past I had D/Led SR2:Reboot twice already before this S

Hey Netriak, Thanks for getting back to me. I modified the INstall.TXT to that and now it receives the error on the 2captain.pkg file. I think that I will redownload the REboot version to see if the 2captain file is damaged. Thanks for your help, Kevin

Space Rangers 2 Upgrade fails to read 1captain.pkg in Games Support Stardock Forums

Greetings all. Just downloaded the new Space Rangers 2 :Reboot game and it seems to have a read error with my files, whether overwriting directories or not. Specifically, the executable fails to REad 1captain.pkg. However, through error checking it does seems to read common.pkg, Shipfull.pkg, etc on down the list inside INSTALL.TXT. However, when it reaches 1captain.pkg, there is a read error and the program simply halts execution. I originally bought this game from Direct2
