Thank you, Jan and plaird. I have discovered my trackball needed recharged. It works fine now since I plugged it in. I got the idea from a child who said, "Is it plugged in?" I don't typically use it plugged in. I just grin and shake my head.

CursorFX caused cursor to disappear in Object Desktop Stardock Forums

CursorFX caused the cursor to disappear. I do not know how this happened. The only way I can run applications is to select them per the Window key, type in the app to execute and hit enter. When I run CursorFX, I am unable to select the options which can only be selected with a cursor. Rebooting the PC does not effect the cursor. CursorFX does not allow me to select options with the keyboard. I am stuck without a cursor and no way to bring it back that I am aware of. Do you have any ideas of

Suggestions: In the screens where there is a "Sentry" button where a ship or fleet stays in one spot for the time being, add a "Patrol" button where the ship or fleet goes back and forth between two points. I think it would also be good to optionally use waypoints with like would define more than two points for the ship or fleet to follow.

Recommendation for Military Starbases , Huge Warships, and Terrorstars in GalCiv IV Early Access Feedback GalCiv4 Forums

I think a good enhancement would be to have long range weapons like certain missiles or beams that could work for up to say 3 hexes around a military starbase or along the spine of a heavy or huge warship. All missiles need is a lock-on a target and enough fuel or hyperdrive engines to take them to their target. A beam weapon will have diminishing returns the farther out it goes. I think that an enemy starship that goes too near a military starbase should get stung and maybe destroyed. The te

Recommendation for Adding an Ironman Option in GalCiv IV Early Access Feedback GalCiv4 Forums

I would like to see an Ironman option added before final release, where you cannot save games and you can only resume where you left off. This is setup especially for point system type challenges that can used to compare with other scores. It prevents cheating, and it is good for broadcasters to show their prowess at playing the game.
