It is true as long as you can deliver the KB/sec too at that ping. higher ping also affect the transfert rate at bill the game is capping at 350ms really. the game will take 350ms to respond to a command. and this is whatever the ping. So theorically we could all ping to 350 and see no difference But its not like that because with those high latency , the transfert rate begin to be the problem. Di-624 is know to cause problem on certain firmware. I suggest you update to latest version, and set the gamer mode option to enabled.

Hi. I havent been around for a while due to an illeness. I heard there are now ports to open for a Direct-connection. I would like to know thoses ports and are they changeable? (mostly useful for 2 computer in LAN) For NAT it was changable when using the imulsereactoroption.exe Thanks And Hi to all the old people I haven talked a while.

Sady It didnt work. Impulse anywhere is blocked and the hospital filter show it as Hacking [e digicons]8C[/e] I did try to access the page using internet proxy. but the big problem with thoseis that they does not allow me to download more than 4mb file... So im pretty much screewed. Any I guess I alsk my GF to get the data from my computer at home.

I would HIGLY recommend to test the game witout disabling the SPI firewall. Normally when you foward ports on the router, a "hole" is made in the firewall to let those packet pass. So disabling it isnt really necessay. But as I said, do it only if youhave to or your own security.

Disabling the router firewall is not recommended and is possibly not necessary since youalrady foward the ports. So I sugest to keep it on if it work with it

Well in fact im not at work. Im sick. Im being treated for cancer. I'm on a isolated chamber for +- 3 week. Si I cant get out. I already found some way to access web site that was being blocked but the robem remain for application that uses certain adresses.

Does opening port 6112 to 6200 invovle using the file : impulsereactoroptions.exe in demigod directory?No, it involves using your router. You obviously wasnt participating in the beta. For the game to use those ports, it was necessary to use this file located in demigod directory to actually tell the game to not use the NAT and use thoses ports instead. But im not sure if this has changed since release. And yeah I know its on the router i open port

Proxy will not reduce latency. As frogboy said, its highly possible it will get higher if you are connected to it.

I agree to most of it but I have to disagree (and Im sure im not alone) that the game has been rushed out a little bit. As a beta tester I didnt have much problem with the netcode but I seen others having.
