Opening ports will be unnecessary; IIRC, the whole point of Stardock's fancy new system is to remove port issues.
Wait a minute.. AFTER the release? Arent demos supposed to be BEFORE the release to give people a sample of the game? Why would they make it after the release?
They would make it after release because GPG is busy making the retail version as good as possible :).
March 27th is almost certainly wrong. The wikipedia page probably just hasn't been updated in a while. I don't know for sure but you'll probably be able to download the digital version on the same day as in the US, so April 14th would be correct.
Eventually you will be able to upgrade from the digital version to the collector's edition box version for ~$5 + shipping and handling, IIRC.
I'm pretty sure you get an extra bonus if you control a certain % of the flags, as well. I think Frogboy said it at one point.
Nothing official has been announced so far. Probably after release.
What about the in-game profiles? Maybe they are causing your problems :)
Quoting Gnats3, reply 11 So what about the rest of us? The ones who helped you get to 1,000,000 in the first place? completely agree. The way that Stardock has sub drives and such to get us to subscribe and renew and that sort of thing and now they pull this bullshit? I'll remember this the next time I see a sub drive. I implore the rest of you to do the same. A
Yeah, even if you preorder now, beta access is closed to new players.
This probably isn't the best idea but if existing users can make another account and buy something else and be eligible, it isn't so bad. Do preorders count?
I don't think you really level up between games anymore - every time you start a match, you are level 1. HOWEVER, "favor items" function similarly to leveling up. As you play games, you win favor points that can be spent on persistant items. Win a bunch of games and you will be able to buy massively better items than if you only play one game, and this will make your Demigod much much stronger. In the campaign mode, you basically play a series of skirmish games with di

Better pictures of the Elemental-computers and the Elemental wall at the top of the picture of Cari's desk would be nice [e digicons]O:)[/e]
There were some references to Occulus in the early beta files (spell lists and stuff) that weren't there for the others, so probably him. The steampunk-looking falconer-woman looks like a General so maybe her too.
I think Frogboy said that it would cost an extra $5, plus shipping and handling.
Yay, someone who might maybe know what I'm talking about :D
Frogboy confirmed the Rook miniature.
Maybe a couple that are totally new. I can`t recall any of the conceptual four striking me as engaging (looking) as Rook or TorchBearer or Erebus, but I could be mistaken with my foggy memory. Do we have links to their images somewhere?
Look at my last post in this topic :p
Makes sense to me.
Wha... ?? WHERE?!?
Scroll down a little on this page .
Yeah, this has come up several times I think, but I definitely agree. Please set the camera orientation back to whatever I set it to when I respawn.
It is a bug.
Spells that weren't just direct-damage types would be awesome. Spells that change the environment, like flooding or lowering/raising/otherwise affecting land would be fun and pretty effective in various situations. Illusion and conjuring magic would also be great. I would like to challenge Stardock to not include a spell named Fireball, actually. It could be a way to really advertise the spell diversity :P
The current idea of receiving additional tiles on which to build your cities as the population of the particular city grows is a good idea, but sounds like it has one problem. This problem is, in my experience, present in many games with "campaign map" type setups, like Medieval 2: Total War. Basically, building your cities gets really boring after a fairly short time. Sure, at first you will have fun reading the descriptions and figuring out which buildings to build when, b

Can someone please confirm if we will be getting standard or collectors edition?
If you preordered the box version, you will get the Collectors Edition.
Well dang, I didn'y get the box, just the download. Oh well. [/quo
