Ok, so I reinstalled Iconpackager since that was logically the most likely culprit. I loaded the Windows Default icon set and the icons are restored. However, I can't uninstall the damn thing, haha. Everytime I do, the icons go nutso again.

Unfortunately, with the transient nature of 4chan that is a very unlikely prospect. I'm going through the Wincustomize submissions, hopefully I'll find them. I think seeing other people's setups might help, WebGizmos. Right now, I'm finding the transition a little overwhelming. It's really tough to switch to a dock when I'm so habituated to the Windows taskbar and have been for years. And it doesn't help that they actually made the taskbar a powerhouse in Windows 7.

Thanks guys, keep 'em coming. I especially like the Tinted dark backgrounds, I will try to find some icons to match and give that a shot. I'll post a screenshot later when I am free with what I've come up with. I'll probably end up reducing the amount of icons and Fences but keep the "Temp Junk" one for sure since I don't see a need to put temporary files on a dock. EDIT: As a Windows 7 x64 user, would you recommend OD2.0 beta over 1.9?

Clarification on WB performing better than default Aero in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

Hi guys, I've recently purchased Object Desktop and am loving it so far. I've read that WB's skinning engine is 4x more efficient than the default Windows Aero solution and I just wanted to know what this means exactly. Would using an exact replica of the Aero skin through WB lead to faster and more responsive windows? If I used a skin that was really bloated with a lot of graphics, would it still perform better?
