Hello all again. Its been a while since I've been here, I'm hoping people still check this thread. I have a request for a icon I cannot find anywhere, and do not have the talent to create it. I just recently upgraded to Windows 7, and got a router and set up a home network. My Network name is Glitch, and I would like an icon made that looks like Glitch from ReBoot. I have a couple pictures here, but I'd like it to look more real and less cartoony, if that makes s

I'm not sure If I remember seeing this somewhere about needing multiple liscenses to use one of your products on more than one computer. My question is, If I purchase a product, can I use it on 2 systems booting on the same computer?? My comp dual boots Vista Home Premium, and Vista Ultimate, could I purchase something like Windowblinds or Objectbar and use it on both systems??

Being "Graphically Impaired" I'm hoping someone could make a icon for me. I'm looking for a better, possibly 3D, icon for 1 click DVD copy. The one with the program is kinda blah. One other thing if someone has some free time and creativity to use up for a great purpose, I've been using the same nick on all forums, and never had my own avatar. It would be greatly appreciated if someone would take the time to create something for me. I don't even really know what

The 2 things I use to customize context menus are Tune Up Utilities 2008 and Glary Utilities. Both go well together, because they can change different things. Glary is free, has 1 click maintenance with Registry Cleaner, Shortcuts Fixer, Start-up Manager, Temp Files Cleaner, Tracks Eraser, and Spyware Remover. The context menu manager allows you to change menus associated with desktop, all files, directories, drives, folders, certain file types, recycle bin, etc. Also

Thanx Pixeleo, didn't think about that. Always Ctrl+Alt+Del I guess. That was a major issue before SP1 was released, doesn't seem so bad now. Just looking for an alternative for the start menu, seems like that and the taskbar aren't used much anymore. That and it would open up room in OD for apps and minimized windows without having to create shortcuts to so many folders.

First off, I want to start out by saying I take no credit for the design of the Visual Style, Icons, or any graphics used to make this. I just put this shot together to give a good visual for what I am trying to explain. I hope this isn't a problem. Also, I don't know if anyone has made a concept like this either, I made this based on what I would like to see, I'm just looking for some feedback from the community. Who knows, this could be implemented in the next-gen OS

I don't use theme manager, so I do not know how it works, but it would be nice to see the most used apps for OD set up in an all-in-one user interface. You could go through it and set up your windowblinds or MyColors, iconpackager, choose DX (widgets, objects, or themes), Sound packager, Log On, Deskscapes, etc. Maybe even ObjectDock set ups, all from one, maybe tabbed interface, then save the the whole theme to be used later without having to open up and select everything individ

Thanx messiah, I just wanted to elaborate a little on my post, I was kinda in a hurry. I've already moved all my seperators and weather docklet backdrops to individual folders so I can easily change them, with the fly out and weather backdrops It would be nice to be able to easily change them in the config., like running indicators. Too bad on the animations, It would be pretty impressive though. Finally, two other things I thought of today, ability to scroll through flyout

I apologize, I didn't get to read all the posts here, I just wanted to add my ideas real quick before I watch a movie. 1. Some docks have seperators, and some don't, I'd like to have all my seperators in one folder and be able to choose them per dock like the running indicator. 2. Animated docks. Ex. A leopard style dock with water running off it, A dock that has a glare or beam of light animation, maybe a l.e.d. scrol

Po, There is an option in the settings to set the rotation, mine spins with my center mouse button. The Square backgrounds are for a future release that will have docks like OD and square shaped docks, just haven't been implemented at this time. The icon replacement feature is my favorite. Also, if you right click on the dock and add a dock folder, then click on it, it opens an empty ring where you can add more files, kinda like a category. Then you click on the center

Yes, and it is really easy. It has a nice "icon replacement" system where you just drag and drop the icon on top of the file you want to change. I wish I were more artistically inclined, I'd like to have a couple varations of docks for this from OD. There are only 3 that come with it, those are easily changed too.

This is definitely not an OD replacement, just something new to try out. Like Erk said, maybe a good enhancement to run alongside OD. I'm with Starkers, I saw a new toy and just had to give it a spin. LoL. Thought it be neice to share, glad a few ppl checked it out, there will be an updated version released on Sunday. And, yes Messiah, the dock and icons are resizable.

Well, I dunno if anyone has seen this, but someone has created a circular dock that is (IMHO) pretty friggin cool. It's based off the windows seven dock, it spins and rotates, and is fully customizable with circular skins, all icons can easily be changed, it has a sort of "category" feature kinda like DellDock, where you can add a folder, then put shortcuts or files in it, and when you click on it, the folder goes to the center of the dock, and its contents open around it. I just

I don't know if this would be possible with DX or maybe an enhancement of its own, but I would like to have individual desktop icons, I could place anywhere, with flyout capability without having to add say 5 seperate docks and tweak the positioning to get them where I want them. If you have a full OD that spans the lenght of your screen and have a flyout on either end, depending on how many apps are in the flyout, some of the icons and one of the arrows are lost off the desktop. Also, having

I was the one who posted the DellDock, while I used exsisting graphics (The actual Dock) with permission from the artist, I did a little customizing myself on the menu. I'm still very novice in the design area, working and hoping to be able to make something original someday soon. Here is the shot I posted though, and I am working on an Avanti DellDock right now. Going to change the menu and all. Just a question if anyone knows the answer, I was able to change the height of the dock, font ty
