An "AutoSAVE" feature would be a great feature on DesktopX for a future upgrade. I'll have to admit, DX is pretty intuitive and easy to learn compared to many other software. I haven't gone through any Tutorials yet but wanted to get acquainted with it first then hit some of the tutorials.

Hi All, I'm new to the whole desktop customizing thing. Recently purchased Object Desktop Ultimate and a few other programs and skins. I'll have to admit that I was totally overwhelmed with it all for the first two weeks. Thanks to a wonderful WindowBlinds theme by I.R. Brainiac, I've really started to get into this. Once I downloaded Knot_Vista it was all over. :) I had to get in there and customize my desktop just like I wanted it. What a wonderful place to start t

Hi Zargon0225, I seem to be having a ton of trouble from DxaxHost.dll programs. I still can't launch [B]ODNT Launchpad[/B] ... ... my guess is that they are all related. I am also can't launch Natural Desktop and am having some problems with DesktopX. These all have DxaxHost.dll DesktopX will only launch if I go to directly to the folder and lauch it by double clicking it from there. (Will not launch/ run from SDC or Impulse. Hi, I tried several versions of DXAxHost.dll First I tried version 3.5.0.0 that I got out of my DesktopX folder. Natural Desktop actually opened about half way and no windows error but the program wasn't fully loaded either so it wouldn't work. It said it was looking for a file, so I found that file in DesktopX and placed it in the Natural Desktop folder in the same relative location. Hi Bichur, I tried all three methods of install and uninstall with CCleaner and reboot between. From what I've read around here so far, I am assuming that SDC should be my best approach to loading and updating. I'm liking Impulse but since it's in an earlier stage of development I think I trust SDC more at this time. I don't know about a standalone installation's chance of success. Thanks Zubaz, I just found that "SmartException" program and as you probably know it's a part of the OD Ultimate package ... and what a package it is! Just for good measure I ran "SFC /scannow" to be sure of my system's integrety. Everything checks out fine and all system files are intact and verified with i386 files. Hi, OS=XPSP2 Downloaded and Registered Object Desktop Ultimate (upgrade from Stand Alone WB6.? & SS6.0) Forced to use Impulse to download (pretty buggy program, so far, IMO). Downloaded all OD programs then updated all, I like SD Central a lot better.
