And you expect us to believe a blonde could spell Sacramento?
Yeah, I recognized it from a dream, but it's THIS one. Says on the page: "Used reference image by Milad from InterfaceLIFT . "
No ideas for a new skin? Well, we can always blow bubbles!

According to the Stardock page for fences: Coming soon: Customization ! While not yet an available feature, future versions of Fences Pro will offer the capability to customize fences' looks by more than just changing their color. In addition to being able to customize each fence individually, Fences Pro will also add the ability for you to set your own image, texture, or custom "skin"
# I have two HD's on my PC. Can I put 7 on one and keep Vista on the other?
Yes, that's what I did with the beta and RC of Win 7. Just choose the Advanced install option and choose the drive to install to but back up your data , including Email and internet favorites/bookmarks and any other data that may be saved with the install folders or in you profile. Make sure you have all your serial install disks and serial numbers
The UI has changed quite a bit from version 6. I imagine most of this is not being familiar with the new UI.
Yeah, but once you get used to it, the benefits are outstanding! And Textures are AWESOME !
You can sort by Artist by using the search box on the right side, just between the preview and the skins listing. [e digicons]:)[/e]
I use PowerPro for making menus ( which can be activated by the middle mouse button ). Also does Hot Keys, Button Bars, Macros, Timed Events ( IE: run a certain program at a certain time ), Reminders. Can also run Scripts, as it has built in scripting, and can be Skinned. Not the easiest program to learn but extremely powerful. Although it wor

I have the same problem and my UAC is OFF! (or at least on the bottom setting) Not only that, but I can save a few files to the same folder BEFORE I get the message! Thanks for the info Karen, I'll try that!
Did you try un-installing and then re-installing? Mine was missing as well as the Vintage dream and this worked for me to get them back. [e digicons]:D[/e]
It says it only works on x86 systems. What does that mean? I have Win7 64 on AMD Phenom Quad core.
I use PowerPro for things like that (as well as Menus, toolbars, hotkeys, macros and more!) and it's FREE !
furthermore, will the docks- tabbed docks- be able to get fully "hiding" until requested? only the Tile and zoomer docks can complete hide the tabb dock hide but the tabs show set the tabb dock as Show dock as drawer under Positioning
The tabs can also be set to hide by unselecting "Tabs always on top" from a right click on the tabbed bar. (although sometimes they misbehave!) If you do go for the Object Desktop,
should be 72 dpi, 300 is for print.
Actually, I believe it is now 96 dpi for web/computer viewing on Windows systems.
I would think ObjectDock would be more of a replacement for quick launch than fences. Windows 7 can run programs right from the taskbar I use both myself.
What a cool feature! If not for this thread, I may never have known about it! I can see it coming in handy with the use of textures, as some taskbars/menus or window border/titlebars are better suited for them than others. Sometimes I just like the start button better from one than another even if the coloring is similar. Thank you <a id="ctl00__Content__LinkAuthor" class="Article_Author hand" title="Click author name for more options." onclick="Sd.Menus.showMenu('postAuth
OK, shall we bring an END to that discussion? [e digicons]:D[/e]
I was pretty happy with Vista, especially after service pack 1. The I started using the beta of Win 7 and I noticed how slow Vista was for file copying and other stuff. When I started using Win 7 RC for stuff more than Vista, I knew I was gonna upgrade ASAP! Karen, get yourself an external backup drive! You won't regret it You can use LapLinks Windows 7 Upgrade Assistan
Yes! That would make it easier to match the OD with the WB without creating a new OB background. [e digicons]k1[/e]
