I think as well that it is mainly a community thing, normal warcraft III isn't much better when it comes to this ( to be fair I noticed that its alot better than it was a few years ago at least in normal Warcraft). having non-ranked game modes doesn't split the community, its 2 different types of experience which attracts 2 different type of players, also it isn't an either/or decision but most will play some games of both type probably. What could split the community is having

RapierXs point is more about cheating by having someone who tells them what the enemy does via ventrilo or alike. Legerdemain, I disagree you can still hide important parts of your playstyle if only play your real playstyle in games with friends where no replays are made public until some big tournament comes up. Or you play an all random team, there should be so many combinations nobody should be able to really analyze you.

I am not totally sure but when you click on shipping rates it says "International: USPS First Class - $20-25" thus $20 would be 13,32 Euro and only the dollar sign is wrong not the euro price but this is indeed a bit weird.

RapierX, there was that option in supcom already, also given the nature of Demigod I think 20 to 40 seconds delay should be enough

brn4meplz, don't mix it up with recorded videos (using fraps or camtasia or similar programs) from the 1st person perspective, they usually don't release replays of korean pros.

probably you are right about the size Poita_ one more thing which I forget yesterday: recording replays with all mouse movements and camera changes of yourself so you get some kind of first person replay. There is a 3rd party tool for Starcraft which does this and its really quite cool (and it shouldn't increased size of a replay too much, I think it was about 100-200kb more in a 20 minutes long match.)

While there hasn't been an official confirmation on the existence of replays in Demigod yet, it is very likely that there are replays and as I haven't seen a replay thread so far it's time to make one. Before beginning to list up the features which Demigod replay system should have, I have to admit that I have very ambivalent feelings towards replays. I do enjoy watching replays of interesting matches, be it in Starcraft or Supreme Commander, however there are&nbsp

its fail, because you create money out of the nowhere. you can't just add some coins to the treasure because someone had an aura, thats not how economy works. Why the hell should healing someone give you gold - bandages and syringes cost money you know. Sorry for the sarcasm but the reward of healing a team mate is that he stays alive and your team wins, the reward of a buff aura is that your team is stronger and kicks the enemies butt. Creating artificial rewards just leads t
6. Can't Touch This (pre-req for Hammertime): The Rook shuffles rapidly from side to side, mesmerizing nearby foes and increasing dodge rating 10,000% for the duration. Can't Touch This is a high energy maneuver but the drain is somewhat mitigated by equipping baggy pants.

God! Can't you people take this game seriously?
Tyo is in love

I am against having permanent health bars over/under enemies, because it just looks ugly and if there is that option I'll still not use it even if it gives me a small disadvantage because its just so hideous. And I do hope we don't see the enemies mana at all, never liked that in warcraft, was alot funnier in starcraft when you could bluff with units who don't actually have enough mana to do anything. (but I would like very much to have an item which reveals the enemy mana/items maybe even

enjoyed that article, I guess UI is one of the less rewarding aspects of game design as a good UI tends to be shy and stays out of peoples mind, all you will ever read about an UI are complaints so lack of complaint is all reward you will get. (maybe I overexaggerated it a bit). nice to get some clues in the sketches (cap-meter, apparently at least 6 skills per Demigod...) I think its the first time Lua is officially mentioned as scripting language for Demigod, so it will proba

I think he means autocasting not autotargetting... and autocasting should be used where it makes sense and shouldn't be used where autocasting takes away too much of an decision from the player
