Make sure your graphics experience rating is above 2.0. I installed my nVidia driver but didn't update the experience score and it didn't work until it re-evaluated my machine.

Hi Seabass, I just recently installed Vista Business. I have installed the latest nVidia nForce driver for the 590 SLI chipset. I do not think I've seperatly installed the nVidia display driver yet. I'm having the same issue except that the Window Desktop Manager is running and is set to automatic and Desktop composition is already enabled. I'll repost when all the updates are completed and I have all my drivers installed. EDIT: P.S. I have an EVGA 8800 GTS 320MB video
We'll probably see more tactical when we get generals into the fray ....
I think they may be limiting the number of units in each creep while it's in beta. I'm sure eventually it'll be adjustable.
I saw a bug where the computer play had a kill streak of 65277 or somthing like that. I wanted to take a screenshot of it but I'm not sure if the usualy "Print Screen" button is making any screen shots. Anyone know if this feature is supposed to be in the game?
Oh my Demigod?
why is it like that? well software engineers, like all engineers, spend most of their time drinking and leave real work to the week after (trust me, i am one). no body expects the the killer-hangovers and engine-level issues that need huge workarounds. and then there's QA... hold on, this isn't THQ. lol.
I second that remark ... and I represent that one too ...
No worries, just join a game. Alt-Tab out of the game. You can get a free 24 hour server using TS or Vent. Just have everyone join up to your server and make sure they get on the right team. Then go back into the game and start. Yeah, it'll be hell trying to get everyone together on it but it's alot better than no support at all. Maybe if it becomes common place in the game, GPG and Stardock might realize how important communication is to the enjoyment of a team game.</
Yeah , TorchBearer is easily the most powerful right now ... Rook would be second and poor Regulus being the weakest.
Maybe the amount of experience should be based on the percentage of damage dealt to the creature times it's xp value. Keep the floating point, but only display the integer value of XP. That should eliminate any issues with XP.
Wow ... from PC Gaming revolution .... to cheese ... what a topic.
I wonder if Demi-god will still be able to use Dual Monitors like in SupCom. Have a mini-map on the left screen ...
Yeah, I don't think commandercup understands how to move the view with the mouse in this game. You just zoom back, point at where you want to be and zoom in. It's alot faster than scrolling and you get a birds eye view of what is going on so you can direct your attention where it is needed. This should be the staple of RTS games in the future. Scrolling is out of date. In addition, I think you can hit the home key and get split view.
Well, being that it is supposed to be boring I suppose that's a good thing. Anyways, let them get the next one out whenever they feel it is ready. No pressure.
No, he just needs to stay behind your spawned army. Then you plant mines before you need to retreat,
Yeah, that definitly wasn't a cheap machine you built there. The great thing is, you don't have to spend $1600 to get 4x the performance you had purchased 4 years ago.
It was pretty random, but I now have logging on so I hope I can catch it again.
Basically, I was a torch bearer and a torch bearer killed me while in immolation. His normal shot did 675 damage. He leveled up at the same instance I died and the game was frozen like that. I had to restart the computer. I'm not sure what other details I can give.
Oh, I did a search and nothing came up. My bad.
Cheapest Artifact has visual glitch of a brown square on activation. I am using an EVGA nVidia 8800 GTS 320 MB with Drivers 177.92.
We need a demi-god called Scathis. :)
Ahhh! I had to reorder the game as my order got screwed up .... now I'm out of the Beta 1 ... grrrr
I have a friend who creates models for video games. He's mostly does vehicles, so the animations are not exactly the same as a demigod but the cost to make a single model does not cost 1.5x a single artist's yearly Salary to make. (I'm not counting the time invested in balancing and powers and such, only building the model and animations.)
I disagree. In team games like this, communication over VoIP is key. I don't even play SupCom : FA anymore unless I am playing with people I know .. just because it's the only way to play with VoIP. Anyways, VoIP isn't for trash talking ... hell you shouldn't even be able to talk to your opponent with it. Hmm ... I wonder if this forum has polls ...
I haven't been victim to huge LRM spam .. all I know is that in the last multiplayer game I was outnumber 4 computer (team) vs just me while my other team members where in another system and LRM spam pretty much saved my bacon. Spam in general in this game is frustrating. I get frustrated on the computer tactic of building up tons of siege frigates .. running to a planet .. bombing it down quickly (even if you have some defenses up) .. if you don't have a fleet nearby .. the system is toa
