Hay Craig, just had to add these to make it complete: positivist, positvistic, & positivistically......whew - what tongue twisters!! All these came from my PC Merriam-Webster's collegiate dictionary. Hope they help!! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/BigSmile.gif

HG Eliminator, I have a Sony 5 Disc platter DVD player my sister bought me for Xmas 4 years ago.....it was THE Flagship player at the time - excellent picture on my Zenith 35" CRT....I don't care what they say about 480 lines of resolution, that baby is sharp & clear & I love it!! However, playing anything on it other than something that's "Region 1 coded" is a mess...the player skips every chapter a few seconds into the disc; I ended up buying a no-n

This is THE reason why I NEVER buy Sony products of any kind - their DVD players are the most restrictive in the business. Buy anything from them that has anything to do with duplication at your own risk.... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Sad.gif" border=0 ALIGN="abs

Brad & Co., Thx for the hard work by everyone at SD/WC...having been here since May of '02 it's been great!! I think I'm in the #4 Class but it really doesn't matter - as long as the website flourishes that's whats important. I think the entire reconstruction of availability/class/rewards serves the site well. Thx again! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smi

Hope others comment here as the first X1000 article only got 4 ...two of them mine...I'd really like to hear from anyone here who has one of these X1000 series cards....even the X1800XL! It's getting rave reviews over at Newegg! THX! <img src="http://images.stardock

Laoran, Thx so much for the response!!! Yes...i'd say about 2X increase or thereabouts. I can't believe your vid card has only 48mb of memory.... ....I mean gosh... ...at least your brother has a ATI Radeon 9800!! I just don't know WHAT kind of SPEED you'll ha

Noticed the tray icon for WB is gone now Citizen MBoyer, I think the system tray icon has been eliminated for good....according to what others have told me - since this new build eliminates any dedicated processes it runs as part of the system...no tray icon...because it's NOT an additional system pro

Neil B & Mackintosh, Thx ...I see the (delete button) in the display centered ON the skin itself!! I just knew it had to be somewhere!! There are 4 selections including 'Apply This Skin Now'. Very clever design! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0

THX TONS Laoran for all the info...really helpful for sure! Well, I guess I'll just have to take my desktop wb icon & do a "drag & drop" into the lower taskbar to the left near the start button - it will become a sort of "quick launch app" since the system tray is moot at this point. Just hope they develop some kind of delete button!! THX again! <img src="h

Thx again Laoran...just one more thing...correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there some kind of DELETE button on the WB Configuration window?? I've checked my settings there & can't find it - also in my Display Properties I think there was one??? When I click the Appearance Tab all the buttons are live: WindowBlinds, Effects, Advanced, Enabled Colouring w/Gamma - all of it seems to be there except DELETE. I have to manually go into the Windowb

Thx Laoran ....I would direct support questions to SD/WC, but I have a feeling they have their HANDS FULL helping others far worse off than me....the only minor thing is no system tray icon...it shows up on my start panel & desktop (which I had previously). It's just that I don't want to lose all my skins to this if possible. Thx anyway - I appreciate the time taken. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absm

Laoran, Just wanted to post this: Everything seems fine on my system after installing wb 4.90a[b].002 - the only thing different from you is my skins take about 20 seconds or thereabout to load after the "Please Wait" sign pops-up. I don't use the Logon app but most everything else works fine, IC Pack, Rt.Clk, Icon Dev, Icon X, SkinS, ObjectE, WindowFX, CurXp - nothing missing & all the older skins display great with all bit maps intact as far

Yes! I have WC on my desktop as an icon, system tray, start panel, etc! It's the FIRST place I go when I'm online! I don't care - my subscription isn't due till next Sept, 17th of '06, but I'm renewing right now! As of 10/03 there's only 106 recorded for the subscription drive!! WC has a long way to go if it's going to meet that target #!!!! <img src="http://ima

Agree sandpiperw....I have DSL & don't seem to encounter these long dl times or error's alot - they do happen but are few & far between. And YES Brad - the site HAS speeded-up!! My subscription isn't due till next summer, but I think I'll just send $19.95 to support the site - it's worth three times that much!! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smile

Anything that creates competition is good for all of us in any industry....I can't see Apple being that really because they've been around too long & still cater to a small esoteric group, company, or agency. You aren't going to get massive changeovers with the prices they charge & very little upgrade/mod capabilities! Microsoft needs stiff competitors that can challenge them from the ground up in every aspect of computing. <img src="http://

I agree with Brad here....for years & years I thought apple computers were easy to use "right out of the box" - no set-up & if you were totally new to computers it's what you bought! That's all I HEARD over & over & over - BOTH SYSTEMS require computer knowledge to get the most out of them...& they don't work perfect "out of the box" as I was led to believe!! When my next door neighbor purchased his G3 right after Apple released it,(I k
