HG Eliminator, I have a Sony 5 Disc platter DVD player my sister bought me for Xmas 4 years ago.....it was THE Flagship player at the time - excellent picture on my Zenith 35" CRT....I don't care what they say about 480 lines of resolution, that baby is sharp & clear & I love it!! Noticed the tray icon for WB is gone now Citizen MBoyer, I think the system tray icon has been eliminated for good....according to what others have told me - since this new build eliminates any dedicated processes it runs as part of the system...no tray icon...because it's NOT an additional system pro
I agree thomassen, but if you read the review/results it's not very promising based on the benchmarks/costs for ATI....
I like Nvidia as well as ATI.....hope these new RadeonX1000 cards keep pace - I feel both companies compliment each other with this kind of competition! GO ATI GO!!!

Thx again Laoran...just one more thing...correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there some kind of DELETE button on the WB Configuration window?? I've checked my settings there & can't find it - also in my Display Properties I think there was one??? When I click the Appearance Tab all the buttons are live: WindowBlinds, Effects, Advanced, Enabled Colouring w/Gamma - all of it seems to be there except DELETE. I have to manually go into the Windowb

Laoran, Just wanted to post this: Everything seems fine on my system after installing wb 4.90a[b].002 - the only thing different from you is my skins take about 20 seconds or thereabout to load after the "Please Wait" sign pops-up. I don't use the Logon app but most everything else works fine, IC Pack, Rt.Clk, Icon Dev, Icon X, SkinS, ObjectE, WindowFX, CurXp - nothing missing & all the older skins display great with all bit maps intact as far

Anything that creates competition is good for all of us in any industry....I can't see Apple being that really because they've been around too long & still cater to a small esoteric group, company, or agency. You aren't going to get massive changeovers with the prices they charge & very little upgrade/mod capabilities!
