Perfect! Especially for us old Unix Motif users out there. Now I dont have to use the Object Bar to do this functionality! Can't wait for the beta!

Paul has done it again - time to get rid of the ol Spiderman
IRT : Miss Mannlister Tuesday, August 24, 2004 I have DX 2.20.026 from SDC and I see the Overlay tab I simply start DX- double click on the DX in the systray to get the Settings dialog and the Overlay tab is on the far right (Desktop, Appearance, Defaults, Overlay) Works great for me <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/bigsmile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle
Nice - That is a great new feature - thanks for pointing that out. To note: what happens when you have other applications that use f9/f10 for their features? You can simply change the Overlay keys in the Configure DesktopX -> Overlay area Great job!
What ? I can have animated icons? Zoomers? with DX? OMG I just bought OD+ ! hehe just kidding - glad to see 2.2 Now I am waiting for the new Object Bar
IRT Argyle - flyouts are fine for me. Where do we go to report issues?
Well, I finally decided to buy the OD+ I love all the new funtionality, the multiple docs, systray, taskbar, Grouping, fly-outs (which is, as they say - a neat effect) The only thing that keeping me from using this on a daily basis is: 1. I want a Pop-Up Menu on Folders that traverse short-cuts to other folders (like the Start Menu or My Desktop does with the > arrows). For me , I have LOTS of specialized shortcuts that I group into folders. Right now I use T
nice quicky article to help all those out there
Chat Objects that connect to the most used Chat systems (Yahoo,AIM,MSN,IRC) Include ability for Video
Thanks, funny how quickly that new WB came up
Didn't know if anyone else was getting this problem. If I am running this version (4.38c[b].003) of WB, all of a sudden I am getting App Crashes (Outlook, Word). If I unload WB, then I do not get the app crashes. both seem to crash on startup - System Specs - Dell Latitude - D600 ATI Radeon 9000 (Mobile) Driver Vesion 6.14.10.6371 Nutshell. <img src=
I agree, I NEED a Popup Menu thing similar to KKMenu - this is the only reason I didn't go with Object Dock in the first place (and bought True Launch Bar). I love most of the Stardock software and have now for years - I hope that Object Dock can produce similar loyalties.
Its nothing like Sysmetrix. Truelaunch bar or the new Object Dock Plus will suffice
too bad, I was hoping to try it out before I purchased it. Especially since I purchased OD
I agree with you on that - I really dont want to look at my document in 3D - or to search for a song that way - I just want it fast.. Transparency, albiet a 'cool feature' , makes it difficlt to see the text Of course, it would be nice to annotate the back of *cough* some *cough* web sites
this caught my attention. Might have to check it out (since I am already subscribed )
This is an excellent skin and suite, kudos to Jark
Environments are different. What people need to do are vastly different. Thank goodness there are different tools out there to allow each one of us the choice to choose what makes our jobs easier.
Sorry to hear that Frogboy. If you need, you can go here http://www.hairclub.com/google/
Great to see a new version. I would use this over Object Bar , but it does not support a Pop-up Menu type of functionality - which I use heavily. Also need a systray capability - Its very nice looking - cool effects - now if we can just 'merge' the two
Great addition to an already great site. Congrats Hippy *does this mean less skin production *
I would love Desktop X , if it didn't crash/lock up too often. It's a nice app, you should try it out and see if it fits your needs.
Well, According to the web site, its an ALPHA build which is only available for download from the Component Manager. But, it has yet to show up in the Component Manager List . . . time will tell.
Tarkus - thanks for the update, I did not see the link on NVIDIA before hand. I loaded the drivers and have had no problems with is so far (WinXP Pro) I run ObjectBar, WindowBlinds, DesktopX I have also 'seemingly' noticed some improvements in gameplay (MOHAA).
First, the URL is not correct. you have http://ftp://files.3dnews.ru/pub/drivers/nvidia/40.41_winxp.exe it should be ftp://files.3dnews.ru/pub/drivers/nvidia/40.41_winxp.exe Also , i didnt see anything on the NVIDIA site about the updated drivers..
