hmm still no really good concise UB build... I might have to write one...
HateForest
It's a cool idea but I really don't think it would work that well... costs need to be static to be balanced.
Flag locks ftw. Don't think I'd pull em out too early though.
/wrists > Regulus voice lol sorry to the poor chap that did it...
+1 This is VERY annoying, I know for a fact that I (Aussie) can happily play with people with upto 450-500 ping with no lag at all. But you try to convice people when you join their games of this and they just boot your ass out. I got into a 3v3 at about 250 ping last night and was kicked... wut? A idea to stardock. Take the 'ping' out of custom games and replace with a colour for conenction if you have under 200 make it green under 400 make it yellow and over 4
Here have a badge for being 'the best' at a game that is still almost all new players with little idea of what they are doing. How about you try and help the people you are 'dominating' instead of just crushing them. If you help 5 people this way so they get good then you have a nice little 3v3 group to play with :P
The demo ideas for only a few DGs is a great idea, I'd also consider putting an expiry on the demo so people don't just happily sit back only playing the demo online forever.
This is how I hope Demigod looks in 12 months time: At least 16 Demigods but not many more than this. Noone wants the daunting task of browsing though a list of 80 DGs and having no idea what the other players can do on the field. Stability - no more crashing to desktop. Always seems to be really badly timed like after I get a triple smite in pantheon, this makes me fucking rage. Map editor - This is a must or a lot of p
The game will need this long-term if it wants to survive the sands of time.
Shane, taht's a pretty interesting idea, it would be very good to see some truely diverse demigods liek this, my only issue would be 42 troops at once. Isn't this a bit much? The game already gets confusing when you have a few generals with a bunch of creeps at the moment... maybe fewer more powerful creeps would be better.
reg is op but not for the reson most iddiots say on here it is his dmg not his mines that fuck u hes dmg is too high with the enhancements and the angel wings like 500 and there iare alot of attack speed items and crit items that is op reg is op all the other ones are about wright except qot sheild thing 3 secs cool down it should be 6 secs
If i have to read 'dieing' one more time I'm going to start beating 'demigods' to death with a dictionary. You want a general tip. If you can't spell dying then you need to stop playing video games and go back to school.
Add moapy. I've played with liq3 and fkrego.. and maybe you too deepjay? I'll be on to night at around 7PM EST see you then.
punk bump kekeke
Unless I'm missing something there's no option to move/attack your demigod. REALLY need this, its so annoying having your demi either walk past creeps into towers or chase enemies behind towers cuz you lost concentration for 1/2 a second. Move attack would be much appreciated.
They really HAVE to add this as a long term feature if they want people still playign this game in 5 years... WC3 would be pretty much dead without custom maps like DOTA and the 1000s of tower defense maps.
Meh, please tell me of one rts in the past 5 years that had a story worth playing? RTS AI is always flawed because I don't think our currently level of technology can ever provide a smart enough opponent. The last RTS I played through single player was SupCom and this was only cuz I was reeeeally bored. Look at WC3 - I've played it for years, and never in a long time have I either played the single player campaign OR the default game maps. Multiplayer makes an RTS, sing
YAY! GO Frogboy, I know what I'm doing allll weekend while you rest! Expect more ideas/suggestions next week. Frogboy for president.
hmm well yeah he's not perfect but that's just the basic idea I'd love to see a steam punk influence in this game, Demigod already has a perfect Aesthetic element for a steam punk setting. Also an AOE attacker would be cool, I know the queen does aoe but this is more direct and aimed.
[Name]: Steam Punk [Type]: General [Theme]: Aestetically a young man who adorns himself with lots of technological artifacts that are steam driven, including armour and weapons. Has control (though brief) over some elemental creatures. [Skill Type]: Splash damage based Ranged/Melee hybrid. Has 2 skill sets and switches between them, like the queen. Ranged and Melee. This Demigod would be used to
Had a 4v4 two players were wiped out early and it was basically 2v4. So as it goes we put up a good fight and lost and they start spamming all this "TALK ABOUT OWNED" bs. I mean common have some respect or are we all playing against 5 year olds. I dont know but I always make ppl wanna play by wishing them a good game and what not. So thats my rant just alittle angry we cant get competent ppl online. But I guess thats what way it goes lol.
Welcome to online gaming, full of
What do you lose/gain by having stats? Nothing, can't say I feel like stats would make any difference. Especially to players who are new. Why not ask around chat for some non-quitting experienced players? I seriously doubt adding stats will make any difference to this issue.
Seriously... Ran into a game tonight 4v4 ffa random. This guy Kalibah and Brm both message me with peace treaties. After they hit me at the same time and then brag about working together it's quite obvious they join ffa's to sucker people. Anyway that's the risk you run playin ffa's, not complaining about that. What rips me is that I actually fought back and quickly allied with the other player, and we actually managed to beat down Kalibah. Brm was still very strong though. But after
Horay!Competitive gaming: Systematically draining the fun out of every game since 2003http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2008/02/25btw onyxia deep breaths more
Agreed. I've run LAN parties of 100+ people for years and I must say the ones that didn't have competitions were always ten times more fun. I'm not saying this because I'm a bad gamer I usually won most comps, but there's no fun in it. This is why games are always best for the first month of their release, after tha
