The problem with this game is that it's usually clear cut who is going to win early on with little way to change it. That is why people quit, because late game turnarounds are non-existant. But zomg, that 10 favor you get just for staying makes it all worth it!
Here lies the root of the issue. I was so tempted to quit a game last night after 5 mins when in a 4v4, 2 of my team mates ran into

This kills the flow of early game and often results in nothing more than demigods running between flags to cap and recap constantly. Eh? If every lane had creeps then people would just lane camp. I like the fact you can't just say, sit on the 20% exp flag in the middle of the map cuz you won't get any creep kills at all. If this lane got creeps too where's the incentive to move around? I really like the dynamic fluid play of ha

lol worst thread ever. If that's how you like to play mate then host your own games with those options. Enjoy waiting in the lobby while no one joins your games...

Ok, I'll start putting something in motion tonoight. Uhellig man that game last night was so bad... you guys got 4 kills in the first 3 mins I was like *double face palm* /allies chat 'Stop running in one at a time into the group of 3 of them' We were doomed before the 5 min mark. Another good reason for a clan would be to make sure unbalanced games like this are rare. The guys on my team were obviously really new but they did put up a good fight after the initial

hmmm nice guide, the only thing I see here that doesn't fit well is not selecting skill/favour item until you engage. Sure in a 1v1 this is a great idea but scale it up to 3, 4 or 5v5 and you really want a better generalized build as opposed to a specific ass/gen killer build. You just don't know who you're gonna run into. Some great tips though, it's gonna make it harder to own with UB but that's not a bad thing.

I think this is one of those pains that playing random custom games is always gonna suffer from. New players have no idea that you should 1. NEVER DIE. EVER. 2. Killing DG's is secondary to winning , the flags aren't just aesthetic. 3. DONT DIE. It is hard for new players though, I just hate it how a single feeder on the team can equal a complete loss.

Hi all, Are there any Aussies about who'd be interested in joining a clan? The main point of the clan would be to have a group of people to play against all the time, test strats with and grow in skill. Also to have a good time with people under 400 ping ;) Anyone interested?

So they may get you once or twice but they can't take out your whole team and you should easily be able to hold off 3 regs with 2 of any other demi. Just push em off the flags, you should have no problem holding 3 regs at bay.

Hmm can't say I really agree here, I don't enjoy a game that is me steamrollignthe oppositino any more than I enjoy being rolled. Last night myself and 5 other lads had a game that went really really pear shaped for them after abotu 15 mins, it was obvious they would never win. We agreed to rm and save us all the apin of goign through the motions for the sake of it.The 2nd game was much more balanced and enjoyable. I also played another game 3v3 where the opposite team had a player dr

I've had no issues the last few nights except for 2 poor chaps on a LAN trying to join my game kept '0 pinging' on each other. This must have somethign to do with ports... aside from that my biggest problem is rude people kicking me cuz I'm aussie and have 300 ping. I can't wait for the aussie retail release.
I, too, was from the Dota club. I'm not having any trouble seeing the differences between each and appreciating each for its own merits. Some mechanics in Demigod leaves me puzzled: 1) No creep collision results in chasing down to who has stun/slow abilities and who runs faster. 2) Reinforcements are little help when defending against an aggressive demigod. In Dota, the entire allied creep wave attacks the enemy demigod when h

I would rather see say 12 Demigods and have their abilities and options expanded on so that they play much more differently than today. I worry about having too many Demigods because it dilutes the impact of each one (in GalCiv we kept adding races and people stopped really having a "favorite").
Agreed froggy BUT you also have to take into
Well, you need to be really anal about pings when you set up a game. If you see anyone climbing above 200, give them the boot. Otherwise you are looking at lag and disconnects. People will jump all over me for saying 200, but with 5v5, it's necessary. I hear you about friends getting bummed out about getting games going. I had the same experience in Left4Dead. I loved the game and tried to get friends to

Almost every game I've played long-term has been improved dramatically over the years by fans not the IP holder. I'd loooove to see DG based tower defense. This gets brought u
Quoting Moapy, reply 11 A idea to stardock. Take the 'ping' out of custom games and replace with a colour for conenction if you have under 200 make it green under 400 make it yellow and over 400 make it red. How will this help? Most people only kick for pings over 200 anyway, so they will just start kicking everyone that is not green. Atleast now they might let you stay if you ping just above 200.
