I used to be able to play with 8 AI players all on hard (w/1 ally) and they would give me a run for my money in the beginning of the game... until I build up and wipe them out :) Now it seems that they are very passive. They don't push out and take planets nearly as fast and it seems they really don't care about me building a titan. In short, the AI difficulty seems like it got knocked down a few pegs. Maybe that was a side effect of the "AI optimizati
