The AI is too predictable when bidding for items, as an example, it will always stop at 8k when bidding while having a level 1 HQ. It would be nice, if certain AI behavior for bidding was randomized, so that some were more inclined to try to get claims, while others were really interested in getting beneficial patents and bid higher in those areas than they normally would. This would potentially recreate a more player like playstyle and increase the randomness in the AI

Debt decreases your stock value, so it makes it easier for opponents to buy you out. So having too much debt leaves you really vulnerable in the late game. I am not sure how much the AI does take advantage of it, but I assume players can buy your stock more effectively.

I want to comment on the game options for quick play. I assume things like the handicap or terrain type settings will get descriptions, so I know what they do and which one has the most "AI is on the same level as player at this difficulty". Other than that, I want to note that every option you selected is excluded from the drop-down menus. This means that the order of for example the difficulty is messed up and your selected one shows up on top while the other ones are in order. This

I find the event log somewhat hard to read. The thick text with the black outline makes it feel kind of blurry and hard to read at a glance. As a sugestion, I'd like to have either the border be gone or the letters be thinner, if possible. Other than that, it would also be nice to have highlights on events that happen to you and maybe color code events depending on who they happened to (opponent X got nuked, so the event is in the opponents color). Is it possible to receive a statement on when the keys will be sent out? Will it be at the same time that Steam usually releases games or will it be midnight or some other time? I am pondering on staying awake or not, since I am from Europe, I have to pre-plan my time a bit more. I mean the keys from this site, not the early access release itself on Steam. If it is of course the same time, then that is fine.

From the videos that I have seen, there is little focus on the survival or growth of the colony that the "free market people" were sent out to cover. Are there any incentives other than increased growth potential from more resource demand, for example fines if at least basic supply isn't met.
