If I buy BotF and you buy Anklet, I'm going to have about 50% more HP than you at level 1. Fifty. Percent. For melee DGs than need to get their hands dirty, you really have to go with BotF otherwise you'll just get bullied around in every fight you have with people that do have BotF, especially early game. Losing early games have a habit of turning into losing end games, if you hadn't noticed. However, Anklet is good for harassing DGs like Reg or TB, as it al
Kill's should always be likely if both teams are good. I'm not one to believe that the best players are incapable of getting kills on other great players. It wasn't that case in DOTA, and I believe this game will be that way soon as well. Early on kills are unlikely yes, but they should be happening sometimes against good players. What i'm trying to say is, this build offers no good cross-map support early on for some good kills. Good players di
Low level games are decided by dead DGs. High level games are decided by map control, which includes portal locks. You can ignore creep waves if you want in the early game. You cannot ignore creep waves when giants are lumbering toward your citadel. If you don't deal with them, they start to stack up and cause problems. If you get portal locked, you have to deal with it. And while you are dealing with it, the rest
Also note, there is a bug that will cap your attack speed at long ranges. So your range will get a few free shots on a melee Demigod, then Regulus will go beserk. Try not to attack towers at full range anymore as they'll fall slower. ...Any more details on this? It sounds pretty crucial. What is the cap? Do you know why it happens (from game code) so that you're sure it's a bug, not intentional? Is t

When you have all the demigods in one area, bashing on a citadel, and a ton of very powerful creeps theres a huge advantage. Giving yourself even more creeps from their portals, ups that quite a bit further (obviously). The unlockable idea was intended to have a babysit effect. I played plenty of games where strategy A was viewed as overpowered, no changes were made, and then strategy B is developed, strategy A falls out of favor, and the same process repeats itself until you're up to strategy R or S or whatever. Just playing against another premade doesn't advance you to the next skill level, especially if that premade hasn't played against premades before or frequently, just as a person who primarily joins games solo doesn't magically reach yoru level two by playing a single premade game. There's no evolution of strategy or skill in playing one out of every 30 games against another premade. Pub

But I’m curious to hear what you guys think about this because I think modding, as important as it is, may not be as important as making it easier for groups to play together. The pre-made issue wouldn’t be so obnoxious if it were pre-mades vs. pre-mades. Again, the trick here is to do this withou

As far as you know that tactic could be worthless against another premade. Since the number of premade vs premade games is few to none, what sense of "higher understanding" is there when you compare a pug stomping premade player to a pug player?
Puggers h

Anytime a character gets forced to rtb, or dies, there is an opportunity for a portal lock, and despite high quality games being low scoring, with a coordinated attack you can easily get kills even against the best opponents (stun locks etc.), and forcing a team to retreat can be done by running the enemy he
