STardock doesn't have any mmo's. ;p You could get gal civ2 though. I think it's cheap now.
It's a bit silly.. but yeah, fighters only do damage to LRMS, siege, and scouts.Actually it's only LRM's and bombers. Fighters should only be used to counter those 2 enemies. Bombers are better against every other enemy. (noted in the 1.04 post by the devs) This should be addressed in 1.04 patch making fighters better against light armor types.
.................................... Scouts, Bombers, LRM's, and Siege frigs ALL HAVE THE SAME ARMOR TYPE.
lol NUMBER OF SHIPS[MAGOG]Kruegler = 48HuntingX = 48 WINNER
I'm peeing myself laughing still :(
The thing is advent CAN'T spread out. Advent spreading out is the same as being aoe disabled. They are the most powerful unit in the game, though for the most part Vasari tends to have the weakest ships per cost/supply except for their HeavyCruiser. Advent has Domina Subjugators which heal also makes ships undisablable.. So at least you can bring your gaurdians back on, use a repel, put up shields, and wait for Subverters to run out of AM (they have 250 iirc, takes 10
wait.. i can change particle effects and it's not hash checked? That's kinda awesome..
Z axis would be nice for cap ships to use to go overtop of fleets instead of BURRRR IM A 5000 TON WARSHIP I CAN'T MOVE WHEN THESE 10 TON FRIGATES TOUCH ME.
Yes Heavy fighters works on bombers too.
We're still the best in 1.03. But it's not fun due to only one strat really mattering now, when in 1.02 there where many ways to play.
ermm you can actually do those now except the 3d map and trigger editor..
Then how do they poop? =P
How do you throw up?!
Weird. o_O I've had autoplace on by accident and right clicking stopped them and i didn't notice any odd things, but i might be remembering wrong.
They eat with their butts. ^____^
Most of what you suggested aren't issues..(multiplayer still bugged? How? You mean minidumps? What you described i havent' heard about, just minidumps. And resource rates are fine. Super weapons are fine. Hitting scuttle works fine for cancling buildings, though it should give more resources back when you cancel before it's built), or already suggested, (black market). I can probly agree with Culture, but I haven't played enough to notice the changes. Is it still max allegance cha
I personally found that using only capital ships to take a planet was a lot slower than using seige frigates, which wastes valuable time.
Well.. you're just plain wrong there. Use the siege cap.
You can also back it up onto a USB drive or a dvd to have for later or whatever.
You're right.. These turrets which cost as much as a frigate and are half as good as a cap ship is not enough. These repair buildings better than 2 dozen hoshinkos are not enough. These hangers that cost as much as one carrier and are as good as 2 is not enough. :| The only thing that would be nice is some sort of starbase, like a cap ship that can't phase jump. Soemthing that moves around within the grav well and possibly has a PJI. Besides that. .wh
More importantly than all these I think allies should be able to use vasari's phase lanes, and phase jump detection should be shared between allies. A give planet would be nice too.
I think there is a misconception that you should use fighters vs light frigates. You should use bombers. It's a bit silly.. but yeah, fighters only do damage to LRMS, siege, and scouts. I'm not saying fighters/bombers don't need a buff.. I've already said how I think they need improving.
er yeah sorry ;p
Add a toggle option so that a player can continue playing so long as he has a minimum number of ships remaining, if he has an ally. What happens if someone has a big fleet but they lose their planets? Game over for him. He can't move his fleet anymore and can't stay to help his allies who might still have planets!
Sounds like someone used good strategy to wipe him out when he has a big fleet.. Sounds like the person got out-played.
Pesky, AntiMedium is an overpowered damagetype. If they reduce it's damage vs caps and buildings in 1.04 then your numbers won't be so harsh. It's hard to take you people seriously when you say bombers/fighters need to be TWICE as good in every way. Also you're comparing carriers to something overpowered, LRMS. And what you're saying is carriers should be way better than LRMS, the most overpowered ship in the game. Yeah that makes a lot of sense.
If ya
Theres tons of defences! You can put Light Frigs around a planet. You can put LRMS around a planet. You can put Carriers around a planet. You can put Heavy Cruisers around a planet. You can put Support Cruisers around a planet.
Time limitation is just a horrible mechanism for a demo, especially as there are much better alternatives for playing limitation. People can live with limited functionality because that's what they expect from a demo. This is not the case however with time limitation. I just would never start a time limited demo for the reasons above and I know for sure that I'm not the only one that feels that way. That's why this was not a smart decision.
No one agrees with you. <b
mods are typically under 1mb... Even if they're 10mb, that's very little with broadband. If there is a 100mb mod, either people will sit around and let it download, or they'll leave because it takes to long. Why does the game care how long people are willing to wait to play it?
