its very frustrating to have an amry "heroes" and a "king" that are all speed 3-6 and then adding a new unit (the cool wolves for example) and it slows the whole army down to 1..... Same goes with the ridiculous "escort quests". I had a hero with speed 6 and you grab the quest and you go go down to a crawl.....Has anybody heard of getting a horse for the fat ass slow princess to ride?

Diplomacy is my big gripe: 1) you need to be able to bribe your enemies to get your faction up. Bribery has been a tool since the beggining of time. ITs silly that i can throw a hundred thousand gold and gems at a npc and his rep doesnt move one bit. 2) maybe give us an option to accept or decline a mission, if we decline either give no negative or a minor negative. If we accept and fail give big negative , if win then current positive. Truth is that the requests ar
if htere is one flaw in the game it is diplomacy. I too have had a terrible time with it because i get mission requests at the worst times like im invading player A, and player B tells me to go after player C. I think they should make it where they give you the mission and you have a CHANCE to accept or decline. if you decline, no penalty . if you accept and then not do it penalty. I would like to pick WHEN to do these things. Its just wrong that you lose faction because of bad timi
i would like to know as well. i do believe whe ni talked to them that it would take a few days, a bit longer then 10 dollar shipping normally would be (generally 10 dollars will get you 2nd day or overnight depending on the shipper), but since we get digital download also i dont really mind. i ordered it on night before retail release and they said id get it sometime this week.
you ccan either set the research rate faster when you first create the game. Or the Advent race has a 2 or 3 point tech that increases research by 33 percent total (and i believe its tier 1!)
To the OP. As mentioned by others you can change to game pace, i personally like playing slower only because it helps me think more about my "chess moves". This game is INCREDIBLY deep. There are so many dif ways to go (different emphasis on building/researching etc) which is great for learning. One thing i am amazed by is the AI. They touted the AI being good but i am shocked. YOu can literally leave your defending forces be when you get attacked and the AI defends prope
Ok so it seems that every so often ( sometimes 5 minutes sometimes 20 minutes) the game jsut locks up. The music keeps playing but evertying locks up and i have to hard reboot. the FPS are smooth as silk, i run in windowed 1920 x 1200 and have it fit about 75 percent of my 30 inch display. All settings are at highest, but i keep AA off. Never have any hickups except for the unexplained lockups. I have had the game for 1 hour so far (just finished digital download) and have had about 3 lock
