I'm a week-and-a-half into the iPad experience, and I love the damn thing. It's at my side all the time. Surfing the web is great when lounging on a coach. I'm halfway into Remnick's new biography of Obama, so about 350 pages and reading on it is a pleasure even though it's not e-ink. Netflix streaming is wonderful. The update might not work if you already have it installed (it should work if you just bought the game). So if it doesn't work, definitely use the tycoon.exe -s option. I tested it and it worked for me.

Hey guys, got a solution for you. We're going to update the game via Impulse soon, so you should get the settings menu. If you can't wait, you need to append -s to the tycoon.exe Easiest way is just typing this into the "search programs and files" box that you find after pressing the start button in Windows C:\Program Files (x86)\1C\Freight Tycoon Inc\tycoon.exe -s Your path may vary depending on the location of the game on your system, so adjust accord

I only played the first mission, which was gimped because it was a tutorial. I do immediately notice that the sense of scale seems gone. I remember when for SupCom 1 Chris talked about how all RTS games the units are the same size. A tank was almost as big as a battleship. In SupCom 1, the battleship was a lot bigger than the tank. I must admit that the new Windows Mobile 7 looks very cool; Microsoft ditched every vestiage of Windows Mobile 6 and earlier and totally rebuilt the OS from scratch. I just wish ATI would get the single-slot succesor to the 4850 out. The 4850 is a wonderful card; powerful enough to run almost everything and it doesn't need a beast of a power supply. The 5850 is a dual-slot monster. I just need a single-slot card that can run on a 360 Watt power supply.
