I like the sound of this. The only problem with this idea is that, based upon GC, the question du jour always seems so arbitrary. Whenever there is a galactic council, the question is far removed from my concerns of the moment. It would be neat if your sovereign could call a council and formulate the question. I guess the question could be created using a system like that found in the diplomacy screen (e.g., Should Empire X have to PAY/SURRENDER/TAX, etc. In other word

Ogre! This remains one of the best sci-fi tactical wargames ever made. I am really surprised no one has done an update/tribute game yet. I also liked its unofficial offshoot, Omega: In Omega, you got to build the Ogre (I

The boys over at Blind Mind Studios were kind enough to give me an interview with them back in July. A lot the material has already been addressed in this thread, but there are still some interesting tidbits in our article: An Interview with Blind Mind Studios There are also some new screenshots there (well, they were new back in July [e digicons][/e] ).

The normal Sims I played once in the first version for a few evenings. I borrowed it while a friend was away. Mostly I really didn't get it. Same here. I never understood that craze with that game. Then again, I never understood the Starcraft craze either. [e digicons]O:)[/e]

I could partially agree with that, except the part not getting into it part. I would love for easier access to info in game.
A big part of our objective for Elemental's art style is that in a screenshot you would say "That's Elemental". So many games go for the "Realistic" art style that it's easy to confuse one with the other.
Complete agreement on this. It's a different genre but I think Borderlands is a good example of an artsy look that served to make a game more memorable. When Gearbox announced the switch to the sha
