Confirmed working on steam (Thank you). GFX files don't seem to work for me, only the PNG. Yay for combustibility - er, custom-a-ability.

Ah, I missed out on the Gal-Civ III founders bit (No star for me). Didn't have the cash at the time - but I got it now. I really, really like the new starship designer. Can't wait to jump in the game.
I don't mind DLC, but lets make it something worth while.. game changing. I'd really like to see a upgraded and revamped tech tree. Here are some ideas.. New/Expanded Tech Tree Animal (Civic) - Harvesting tiers for equipment and ty
Not to be a stickler, but .. plate doesn't really protect you versus blunt very well. In fact many weapons were designed to be blunt simply to counter the plate. Heavier plate was never used dismounted for the most part because of it's cumbersome weight. In truth you were much better suited wearing chain. -5 protection from blunt! Mehehe.. Side note : I think that the projectile damage for mage units needs a buff. They can't compete with the bows
If you come prepared to fight the dragon and you've leveled up your sovereign a bit they can easily solo dragons without potions at level 20. I think quest related dragons should be buffed up, but the freely roaming ones you find every once in a while are strong enough for normal monster encounters. Takes me a while to build up to that though (Turn 325, epic research rate) I have a level 22 sovereign on my new game with an attack of 85 with the Sword Of Wrath. Without encha
I've played a ridiculous amount of games on large maps (pre and post beta) and have never had a minor faction npc with a spell that caused damage anywhere the extent you portray. I know that a sovereign with the correct skills and enough fire shards can do quite a bit of havoc in short order.. What difficulty do you play on? Do you have any custom mods? Do you have your game saved? - If so, please upload a screen-shot of the t
There is a form of fleeing through an escape scroll. However I agree that you should be able to escape from combat even if it costs you a few men /hp to do so.
I think a nice UI change would be to allow the two options that are 'hidden' away by a small arrow in the bottom left corner of the screen while selecting a city. (Raze)
Are we taking into consideration some of the larger wilderness life out there, like the elemental lords? What little I've got to experience of FE, it would seem the that Heroes really are not that overpowered due to sustaining injuries and running into someone else's Hero consistently. Fallen heroes don't gain EXP during that battle also. What about something of a 'random' chance factor.... Perhaps, on death/fallen in b

Was fun times. [e digicons][/e] Thanks, Spleen (Zozz).
Mine was ordered on... Monday, October 11, 2010. [e digicons][/e] What if the world ends before next week rolls around!? The cruelty is unbearable.
“Elemental? Stardock should just give up and make GalCiv III!” I still like GalCiv II, played it yesterday for old times sake. [e digicons]\o/[/e]

Commander Mulfia *ahem* Nice, even though it was a craptastic win it earned me a raise in rank at least. Edit : Look at my last win, 2 years only >:) I want to see if I can do it in 1 year. Does difficulty raise the score multipliers?
Ugh, crap score for last game. I feel that I've been ripped off. xD
Anyone played Sins of a Solar Empire yet? I have to say I'm a little disappointed at the lack of overall game content from structures to units.(played all three sides multiple times) Ugh, anyway.. back to my sweet sweet galciv2.. sorry for the lack of recent victories.. I will make up for them. Edit : I should probably make a kitty?
I like Medieval Total War 2. However it is more historic rather then fantasy, but a great turn based strategy game IMO. Besides, who does not like seeing a large group of spear man getting smashed with a oil covered flaming boulder.
Is it like Gal Civ 2, just better looking..? Such as , ship designing, custom races (ect). I'm seriously thinking of picking it up. Edit : To late, I bought it. Guess I'll find out. xD
It would not be very hard to build satellites with the warp drives strapped on to them and send them in different directions till they ran out of power/collided in to a object or programed to stop in a certain area (Object in motion stays in motion, blah blah blah. ). Each satellite could even have a blueprint/schematics of the warp driver. Or, the information could be broad casted out in to space via mathematics on multiple types of freqencies and wave types. The time frame however is issue, a
Star Craft II = http://lolzergrush.ytmnd.com/ I played it a few weeks ago just for old times sake. Zerg is still unstoppable, even with the wall/carrier fleets.
Thank you, Silver.
Interesting read.
I find military victory to be a long and tedious process since no one surrenders to you (they surrender to your other enemies) and you must take every planet
I've only had the surrendering of a planet to another/different civilization only once. I normally have multiple ships and transports around the planet when they surrender. I'm not sure what the surrendering to the other A.I factor is. http://lolzergrush.ytm
