Reply to Scaleable UI in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

What about ship icons on the map? I saw on the introduction video that ships become icons at a certain distance. Is this the distance at which the ships become icons ajustable? Graphics and performance aside, I would like them to remain ships for as long as possible. Customisation for teh win :D
