I had exactly the same problem as TheKat and i also got over it the same way! Im just a little worried now that when the next patch comes out (only on impulse) it won't update and patch properly again. It was a fresh install straight from CD then updated with impulse straight after install had finished. O well will see what happens and may post again after the patch :-)
