I finally figured it all out yesterday and got the problem solved, with the help of your much maligned automated system. The delay was entirely of my own doing. Sorry for taking out my frustration on you. I very much appreciate your kind response.

I really appreciate you trying to help. I had notified Stardock by email of the problem a month or two ago, but never got a response. I went to the page you suggested and filled in all the info and established a new pw for the combined account. There was a message on screen saying an email was sent to confirm the merger. Unfortunately, I checked both email boxes and no message arrived. I went back to the Stardock site and tried to log in with the new pw, but no.
Yes, I was signed in at all times, even when I wrote my snarky post above. Sorry, my frustration is showing. I did figure out that the first two purchases were made with a different email. That is probably a big part of the problem. The other is that trying to get any action, other than automated messages, out of Stardock is an exercise in futility. Their customer service leaves a great deal to be desired. Thanks for trying to help. Maybe I'll go do some yoga or
I am quoting from the message that pops up every time I try to download something. It clearly says, " WinCustomize User Level increases to User Level 5 (Subscriber). Once you purchase a WinCustomize Subscription, you will be automatically promoted to User Level 5. This will entitle you to many exclusive features, such as unlimited file downloading on WinCustomize, access to skin ratings, your very own WinCustomize personal website, and much more.</l
I accidentally bought an updated copy of WB using my current email instead of the old one which is on my account with you. I did write a message asking how to get the new transaction put on the old account or merge the two under one email. Both emails still work. I got some BS message suggesting I read your FAQ or go on a forum. Then I got a message at the new email with a receipt. For questions regarding your order, please contact <a href="mailt
I have been a Stardock customer for ten years, but I am done! I am sick to death of buggy software and lack of support for the programs I do like. It is no longer worth the aggravation to decorate my computer screen. If you guys go broke, you earned it - CCdeQueen
I come from a family of die hard MAC users who have for years taunted me about Windows and my vulnerability to malware. I hate viruses and trojans, but I can't help doing a little happy dance that I won't have to endure listening to any more sanctimonious crap from my family.
Good choices. Congratulations to both of you !
Happy B-day, Kitty. Hope youhave a great day
I have the same problem, but only when I am running a dream animated wallpaper. It's most annoying
My friends just think I'm nuts
OMG this is a lot of work for you. I am so grateful! Seriously Kitty, thank you very much for this
I am all ready for lesson Two. I could never get this far without Kitty's tutorial. Good thing today was a holiday here, because it took me most of the day to get a start menu going, even with step by step instructions. This is giving me a new appreciation for the skinners level of dedication.
Unfortunately, unless WC see fit to archive these helpful hints they will be lost amongst the "drop a word", "add a word" and "change a word" posts that frequent the forums. I've already copied this to my HD. But, Stardock will surely archive this. Those guys have more at stake in the future of skinning than anyone.
Oh Kitty THANK YOU!!!! [e digicons]:D[/e] I'm going to start my first WB today, so don't quit on me. This is wonderful. It is so easy even I can follow it. You are a treasure!
thought it wld b nice to create a skin myself tho
Like you, I gave it several tries and abandoned the whole project on the "too hard" pile. Maybe some of the excellent skinners we have could get together and create a tutorial for beginning skinners. I think it would be very good for the community as a whole. Loukeeya and I are probably not the only ones who have tried and been frustrated by the lack of information.
I am so sorry to hear this very sad news [e digicons]:pout:[/e]
The next person to do it will have their gonads removed
I've been trying to get Stardock to do that for me for a couple of weeks now. If I'm a girl, can I misspell at will?
I forgot the Dragon from Stardock. I miss the flames
c242reply 11 And I would like to see the return of Thredz with pipes in the taskbar. A true classic!
Absolutely!!! also IR Braniac's Slider and Plasmatron and more recently Steam Punk, pretty please!!!
I don't want to be one of the boys either. All that boring blue and gray, and everything having to be "minimalist" would get to me after a while. Please restore our gender. I do feel better knowing I've got company though.
PSP8 was before Corel bought out Jasc and is probably a much more stable piece of software than the newer versions. Truthfully, this was the first problem I have had running PSP X on Win 7. Thanks to gmc2, I am back in business.
Not just a singer. She was a fabulous woman, who lead a long, fascinating life. When they make the movie of her life, they will never find an actress good enough to play Lena.
there are four uploads from corel to modify the original program to make it compatable with vista/win7 and it works.
I have the first three, but I didn't know about the forth update. Thanks
