I solved mine by upgrading to the latest video drivers... thought they were set to auto update, guess not. Game works now, (if not flawlessly)

Hey super stoked to get a chance to play the beta today, I'm on windows 8.1 and I can't see any of the text for buttons in game they just show up as blue rectangles. I've been able to kind of stumble my way through but its basically unplayable without knowing what anything I click on does. Cheers!
- LOTS more automation. If I'm playing as the Korx and I'm raking in 10,000 bc per turn, I want to have an option to buy all of my buildings instead of manually pressing buy for 20+ planets every turn. After playing a few rounds of the game, I started feeling a little guilty at having essentially taken the game from you after you had been so kind a
Hey everyone, I was enjoying a couple of games of Twilight and I ran into this bug 3-4 times where I would try to move some ships onto an enemy planet (A troop transport in one case, and a fighter in another) and the game camera would "freeze" on that planet. I could drag away, but it would snap right back, and I couldn't move any ships. Escape still brought up the menu and I could still do civ stuff (adjust tax rates, governors, talk to other civs, etc...), but I couldn't get my camera to unsn
