Update Doesnt Download in Galactic Civilizations II Stardock Forums

Hello, when i try downloading the latest update for gal civ 2, the download never starts. it says bulding files then it says download starting but i dont receive any data. i have tried emailing support but only get a link to a page i do not have permission to access. can someone please help me out, my game freezes everytime i play at the same turn and i can never finish a game, thank you.

Turn Button Times Out Cant get to Next Turn. in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Hello, Pretty much everytime i play GC2 after 15-30 turns i press the turn button and it just keeps going on forever even though the game wasnt slow at all before that. i have a new computer so i know its not processing power or memory. Does anybody know if there is a specific driver i have to get for this game thats incompabitable with a standard pc? thanks.
