Quick alt-meta question here concerning the different categories (Universal, galactic, solar and mil vs. civ). As far as I remember, the mil categories only have scores from conquest victories. Universal all is all your scores regardless of type. I thought the Civ category was all wins that weren't conquest (research, diplomatic, cultural or ascension). I posted a research victory in an immense galaxy however and it doesn't appear to be showing up in the Universal Civ category. Am I miss

When I go from an already in progress game back to the main menu the ship designer button is greyed out and unavailable. In the "let's take 2.0 for a spin" post boogie mentioned the inclusion of the arnorian ship style. Is that not included in the beta? If it's supposed to be then I don't see the options to use them anywhere. If they're not meant to be included in the beta then ignore what I just said :)
Playing around with beta and seem to have a problem with the planet governor screen. I create a governor and then select an improvement from the "available improvements" section but can't seem to move it into the build queue. I press on the arrows next to the available improvements section and nothing happens. How do you download the beta from impulse, is it automatic? I'm asking cause when I open up impulse it lists TA in the games / update section but I don't see any options on downloading the beta. EDIT: Nvm I got it eventually by following the steps in the "let's take 2.0 for a spin" post (had to uninstall/reinstall)
You can access the beta right now, but you have to uninstall the game first if you used SDC to get it, and then re-install through Impulse. Can anyone provide confirmation here. Was just wondering how I can change stock race super abilities in TOA (patch 1.95). I give a big second to what neilo said. Achieving metaverse goals (in this case medals) is what helps make the gameing experience interesting for many players. Setting up a metaverse for people to compare and compete and then neglecting it is, if you'll pardon my languadge here, half-assed. I don't know what anyone else is seeing but I don't see the 250 win medal either. I reeeeeally hope that neilo (and myself) haven't wasted our time going for the 250 win medal just to find out it doesn't exist. I won't be playing any more ZYW's until I see a 250 win medal under neilo's name. Hopefully it shows up considering all the grinding you had to do to get it. Hopefully someone from stardock is considerate enough to give us an answer on this issue. We shall see.
