In Elemental, zoomed in, I don't know what I'm looking at. Are those trees? Is that a rock or a pouch I can get goodies from? This was a major gripe from Q/A and was fixed for Gold Quests and goodie huts are now very distinguishable on the main map (without looking too gamey...they actually add to the feel of the game, I think).
Good to hear, that was really the only gripe I had with the graphical

I think it would be very beneficial if that "code" got released as it would accelerate a bunch of mods that plan on changing how the system works. I can think of at least 4 Mods being planned that would benefit greatly from seeing that code. Let's hope Frogboy or Boogie kept the code and put it up for a rain

I know I've asked this question previously and there really wasn't all the much of an answer outside of a maybe. Now that the beta is officially over and the release is a mere week away, what can we expect to see in the future as far as hot-seat goes? [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e]
I'd like a version of galactic civ with hotseat play and tactical battles similar to master of orion II. Also elemental needs hotseat play as well _>
Lately I've been scouring the internet looking for new hotseat games to try but it seems to be relatively slim pickings as of late. Ones we've played before include: Dominions 3 Warlords II HOMM Disciples II Civ IV Worms MOO II Space Empires V Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic Medieval II Since I was counting on elemental to fill in the hot-seat section of my collection and it apparently won't ha

I'm not a modder myself, but if modding is such a huge part of the game... every month select 2-3 mods, let the community vote for one, stardock decides another, if yours is good enough then a 25 buck gift-card is in order. It's not about creating an incentive, though. It's showing that you appreciate the modders.

Yeah, too bad other game developers don't I guess they are being idealistic or something to think they can develop THE system to end piracy. Imperium/Civilization This tree really just provides the supports necessary for any other tree to succeed, while it's fairly fleshed out I'd like to see it even more intertwined with your advances within other trees. The game already tracks what rank you are in each tree, would it be possible to have it unlock more powerful techs when two or more trees are at a certain level. In addition to the tech level requirement there should likely be specific breakthrough requir

This is why I'm in favor of a combat system with four variables rather than two. Defense = Avoidance skill Attack = Accuracy skill Damage = .... Armor = Damage reduction cloth/leather has higher defense and lower reduction, plate does the opposite in addition to slowing movement (without a mount) Example using fake numbers: Unit has 16 dexterity this provides a bonus of 16-10=6 let's preten

AoW didn't have this and it was maybe the only drawback of the TC in those games. It should be in, in one way or another. I disagree. This system adds little value if the game already smartly positions ranged units in the back and melee in front. This feature could be "cool" in some h

I'll throw mine in: 1. It was pretty easy to get the red dragon to join up and it is immensely powerful. Because of the way combat works currently he can destroy entire armies by himself with relative ease. Combine this with the spell "freeze enemy" and you can pretty much do the entire master quest with your dragon and your sov. The final battle with the hermit in my last game he never even got to fight back as he was always frozen, so despite having 500 hp the dragon
