This is definitely going to be a very different game, one that I might like to try, but I wouldn't want to buy Crusade, find out I hate it and not be able to go back to the old GalCivIII. Will there be a way to have Crusade installed and still have the old GalCivIII?

News Flash! There is no such thing as transcendence! There is no AI anywhere that has the tiniest bit of independence or unique will or creativity and I dare say there NEVER will be, NEVER!! That being said, any AI is just a collection of statements and this AI is amazing ! The fact that it can manage as well as it does on such a complex game as this is a Fantastic! complement to the AI programme

I like expansive play fields and massive empires. I really dislike the 1.02 update. If they're going to nerf the playing field this bad I'll probably opt out of the game not just the updates.

Assigning colonized planets to shipyards and anomaly pirate lockup in Galactic Civilizations Series Stardock Forums

I always end up with planets that aren't sponsoring any shipyard and it takes me a few passes to find the best shipyard for each planet so I thought it would be nice if you made an option to select a shipyard while you're in the colony governing screen, the option would show the distance to each available shipyard. I've spent a lot of time playing GalCiv II and I was glad when I heard that GalCiv III was in development. I've had beta 4 now for a few weeks and I must say that it is light years ahead of it's predecessor and much more fun to play even in it's buggy, beta state. I play the game to colonize, I choose less aggressive opponents and play the game as race to colonize. I have great resources in my computer so the larger and more complex the galaxy is the better
