Awesome thanks! Founder Elite I am!
My Views and Muse
I am oh so very excited about this. I am a big fan of the series. I love the TBS aspect of it, I have tried Sins but I guess I am not fast enough to really enjoy it like I have the GalCiv series. I am very curious of this will still be TBS or what? I do not think they have spilled the beans on this one yet but I hope they will soon enough. As a side, and truly unrelated note, I am pretty close to doing the founder's elite thing, I buy al
I have a question, will this be like the others in that it will be turn-based? Thanks
I gave up on iOS a couple of years ago. It became too boring, which I assume is a good thing if you are a developer. Anyway, I am not too excited about this, even if they do support android or windows phone. I just do not see being able to have a GalCiv2 type of experience on current hardware.... Although on a 8 inch windows PC I can finally see some more portability coming to some of my games.
Looked interesting but it is subscription software? Eeek, I pass on that model. I do not relish the idea of stopping the yearly toll and the software breaks.
I have been a customer for awhile and have bought all the GalCiv, GalCiv2 stuff, plus a couple of other things (SOFSE),etc. During that time I bought via stardock central which then went to gamestop and steam. My stardock games seem to be spread out all over the place. I am confused on how best to buy future stardock stuff? For instances FE, should I do steam or try the stardock store/client...again? Just curious what others thought.
Excellent choice! I gravitate to Star Trek soundtracks (DS9, TNG and movies) as well. Also, Lord of the Rings (all movies) I find get me in groove as well.
More GalCiv (TBS!) pleeeeaaaassseeee....
LONG LIVE GALCIV AND TBS!!!
It says you must have a copy of Rebellion registered with Stardock to be eligible for the upgrade. How can that exist if you have to purchase via Steam? Confusing
Ok, Let me talk about Sins, SoSE that is. I have all the GalCiv titles and I have all the SoSE stuff (sigh over needing to use Steam for Rebellion). I absolutely love GalCiv, always have. I love the TBS aspect of it and all the detail etc. Since SoSE came out I have really tried to figure the game out. I simply suck at it to be honest, event as the simpliest level. I dont know if I move to slow or simply do not do basic things that I should be doing but whatever
I would home/assume that if your work load is picking up that this is a indication that the economy is improving.
Gal Civ 3!? Keep it Turn Based please. I have Sins for the real-time fix.
Thanks for the quick response kyro! I had seen the email from May 1 indicating that the games were going to go bye bye in the near future so that is why I asked. I would rather use stardock but impulse works for now. Is it planned that they all get migrated back? thanks
Of the 11 games (games plus addon) I have from stardock only the original GalCiv and original elemental have a download button? I see them all and the serial numbers but only those mentioned have a download button? I know stardock central is beta but am I missing something? PS - As a longtime customer I am happy about the return of stardock central!
Not a bad list. The Scalzi trilogy is good but the man has not written a good original story in a long time, I think he is focusing on his website and his personal views these days. Other good stuff is out there. Complex but exciting is Alastair Reynolds and Peter Hamilton stuff.
I agree with most of what your saying having had it in my hands for awhile (developer preview and now the consumer). However, switching to a Mac Air is not something that would happen for a long time. They are nice to surf the web with but otherwise lack the software, development tools and games (Gal Civ 2!) that exist on PC. And the price premium for lesser functionality just does not make sense. I wonder if this will be another BOB thing....
Yes, single player and the latest version 1.051 As for race I am trying humans. Thanks in advance!
I bought this game a long time ago. Back then I liked it but it never captured me. So here I am and I decided to take a look at it again yesterday. I still like the potential but there is someting fundemental about it that i do not get. I am getting clobbered and I suspect I am going to slow at it. I know the game supports recording and playing back recorded games. Is there a repository of these somewhere? I figure if I could watch some good r

What bugs are those (that are in TOA AI)?
It has been awhile since I have played and it is clear that the forums are mostly dead but I wanted to ask this question anyway. If I own ToA is there really any reason to play other original GalCiv2 or the first expansion? THanks
Oh, as for myspace and facebook. Yes you have to have an account to search for them. You can get some very basic information at the very least. Sometimes a profile pic is all you would need.
As a hiring manager I can see the utility in using the internet to gleen as much information as possible about potential candidates. Google searches of names, email addresses, previous employers, facebook, myspace, linkedln, etc. I have a colleague who think doing so violates a persons privacy but I disagree. His argument is that if he wants to dress in drag or go wild running naked in the streets that is business. My response is to validate his claim that is his busin
LOL, Most trusted? Entertaining maybe, trusted to not have a bias or agenda.... no.
