I thought I'd give the Demigod demo a try today. I downloaded, installed and...nothing. It seems to start up and then get killed right away with a Dr. Watson. There is NO indication of what's happening. Any ideas on how to at least find out what's happening?

Well, I'm assuming by 'game' it means 'galciv.exe'. There's actually two of them, one in the GalCiv directory and one in the AltarianProphecy directory. When I installed the game and ran it the first time, I wasn't sure which one I was running. It appears it defaults to the AltarianProphecy. Whoever, the galciv.exe is the game from what I can tell. The shortcut target is: "C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCivUltimate\AltarianProphecy" so I added the
I did try editing a shortcut and a window just opens and closes very quickly.... No dice there.
Sorry to put this on the GalCiv II forum but this looks like it might be the only place I can really apply the question. I recently picked up GalCiv Ultimate edition and have started playing. I know the game is locked in on one resolution option and that's fine by me. I was wondering, however, if it's possible to make that a windowed option at that resolution. I have a dual monitor setup and I'd like to try to have the game running on one screen with my other application
