Akkan is the best but for some reason I always build a Kol first. Colony ships just don't have enough antimatter to colonize planets fast enough against a very aggressive AI (the Akkan does). I generally build my first capital based on which one I want the highest level first. A high level Kol paired with a high level Dunov is a mean pair. The rail gun and flux field do a lot of damage(but not AoE) and the Kol is a fairly tough ship(I think it's max armor and hull are the highest besi

These will be emailed once the CE orders are charged.
Nice! This is why I love Stardock! You guys are always so good to your customers and help us in any way you can. Now I can get at least one friend to get Sins: Rebellion and we can blow up some alien butt together.
To sum up: -Yes this is expensive. It's a Collector's Edition. Those of you who said you would buy one before should, because Stardock and Yarlen went through so much trouble (and risk) to make and get these for us. -All my CE stuff is also from Stardock and this is sad if it is to be the last one. Sins 2 will be amazing. -If you want to play Sins with a friend you have to have (sometimes) two independently purchased games. Steam is one of those roadblocks that
Are we getting an email when the CE ships and when we are billed?
I've updated the OP, but a couple updates for everyone: First: I was incorrect on the poster sizes in the Collectors' Edition. They are actually 18"x26" (46cm x 66cm), not 16"x26" as I'd originally indicated. Second: We've been able to get a better shipping rate for Canadian customers. If you've already pre-ordered, we've automatically updated you to the lower charge. This should save our
The price is totally justified for what you get. Posters, dvd (I mean please, this thing alone would cost you 15 to 25 dollars), ship model(another 20 or 30), and mousepad. Besides, I really need a new mousepad. *edit* (you cant even get a game dvd unless you get this [e digicons][/e] in the US and most places)
I live in the US and it's still $13. Totally worth it. It also is probably heavy with the kol and retail box. Is it true that these ship late July?
Might be hard with the TEC, but just use the Vasari and build a couple of Kortul Devastators and level them up so they have ability disrupting and shield recharging abilities only and they can take care of the antimatter and take a beating. Then send in the rest of your fleet to pound it home. But a lot of the other ways to beat the Vorastra posted here work well too.
I hadn't heard about it tainting the Advent, but that sure would make sense. I wonder if it (the terrible thing chasing the Vasari) tainted the TEC somehow, too? So I was bored this morning and I started playing a game I'd been playing for awhile where I had all my fleet points maxed (2000+) and all my ships in one huge fleet. I was zooming in and out a lot and found it went a lot smoother, and by a lot I mean like it was as smooth as at the beginning of the game when I only had one capitol ship and three frigates. Even when in a huge battle with another fleet that was huge, the game ran really smoothly. The directional arrows and all lines are sm

I don't have one of those..
Wow.. really? I had no idea. I always just had it set on auto and it cast retaliation upon itself. I'm surprised the AI is smart enough to do that.
150-200 creds really is sort of mediocre. He just doesn't have the right planets for a good economy (far too many asteroids).
I have tried sending a few ships to capture those planets, but the problem is that my Advent enemies simply bombed those planets into nothing, but left all the defenses of that TEC AI intact. There is still a huge starbase with a lot of defensive structures defending that Terran planet.
