I've heard the Tomorrow War is buggy. But is it worth getting? I really really would like this game as I've been itching for a space sim like this for a very long time.
I agree, the thought of planetary bombardment is distasteful to me, even if it is a game. After all there are real people in the real world who think nothing of total genocide of some one of another race or culture. So more options and more ways other than just culture would be a nice addition to the game in future releases.
Agreed, I would like the blockage/surrender option

I think your problem is that you viewed the game through an war/offensive eye instead of pondering on the other types of gameplay that's offered here. This is not a simple RTS where you win through mindless massing and ploying. You have to develop an empire to win. Sure, some of the ships look and act similar (but the weapon technology is different as well so keep that in mind). But Sins is more diverse than other RTS like Supreme Commander

I wonder are you going to include the Gorn? They were my favorite race in Star Trek for obvious reasons ;) I did feel that ENT was the strongest in its fourth season (although I'm not familiar with Star Trek at all so I went along with the entire series). Reboots seem to be very common now these days, and probably due to the success of the James Bond series (Casino Royale), Batman (Batman begins) and BattleStar Galactica.
Ive been a fan of Star Trek since i 1st saw it back in 1971. Yes, I was 7 years old at the time, and i still remember watching it with my brothers on a little black and white TV. There were no movies, no TNG, no DS-9, or Voyager with the retarded dead in 1 hit borg, or Jerri "lets put miss silicon boobs in because this show sucks" Ryan, or ENT lets put miss silicon boobed T'pol in, because the trek writers cant think of anything new, or original that doesnt involve th
you were told by a masochistic myopic mysanthrop. probably. anyone who thinks this game advocates for scientific cruelty is an absolute idiot, you're probably losing precious IQ by simply staring at them.
LOL, I'm getting the orange box myself so I'll see for myself anyway ;)
To answer the OP yes, there is a trek mod being worked on. I wont be based on Enterprise though. Most older fans (like me) dont count ENT as trek
Why is that? What about Voyager or Deep Space 9?
No... it was a fun game. Deliberately twisted outlook on the part of the GLaDOS character, but mostly just poking fun at certain outlooks / ideas / characterizations.
I was just told that this game advocates scientific cruelty.

What about Homeworld: Cataclysm. Isn't that part of the series? I have the strategy/manuals for all three games and BTW that Wikia has to be improved. It's heavily lacking the last time I checked it

Ah VGCats...LOL Does this game come across as mean spirited or sadistic? I didn't play the game, but I know a few people not happy with the game about it

For me that would be in very bad taste. However, that's only because I grew up with classical music. Keep in mind that I have no problem with rock (i even have some metallica in my Zen (ipod competitor). For me, if classical would be remixed with rock, there's no way in hell that you'll convince me that the remix is better then the original. Whether they can go together is entirely based on taste.

Alderson Disk > Niven Ring > Dyson Sphere I don't even know what an Alderson Disk is, but I'm guessing "Niven Ring" is a "ringworld", while Dyson sphere is, obviously enough, a "sphereworld", right? If that

Is there a command in Sins that allow the ship to move to a location while attacking a target? (Like in Homeworld?) If not then this should be implemented Also can ships attack inanimate objects? (Such as asteroids).
