In the old days of the web, that's how we learned...we stole from each other non-stop. However...those days are gone forever, and these days you need to ASK. Nail them to the wall!

I want to have someone buy me a Hummer H2. if you do this,I'll be very happy.
here you go, a PNG and an icon made from the C&C Generals wallpaper on their site: http://kenefick.net/skins/ccgen.zip
Super: I completely forgot, I got sick, and my wife cleaned up my desk, and I forgot to ask wher eshe put the box. I'm sending her to the post office tomorrow, so you'll have it soon! So sorry for the delay!
Well, I searched and searched, and I can't find a way to disable tool tips. Best I can see is that in X-setup, there is an option to uncheck showing tool tips on the desktop and in explorer. http://www.xteq.com/ </
That's a pretty nifty app. Thanks for pointing it out!
Perfect! Thank you!
I have looked high and low, and I can't find a decent quality, 128x128 or better image of the ODNT logo/icon...you kow, the funky purpley 3-d box thing? What the? Anyone have one, or know if there's a large icon out there? I need to make icons for some batch files designed to shut down ODNT apps before I play Unreal, and then to start them up afterwards, and I want to use that box icon. TIA!
Disable Tooltips.
I use it...just keep manual backup of the ntoskrnl and booy.ini as well as the BootXP backup. In a worst-case scenario it takes all of two minutes to go back to the default...
Wow, he just doesn't get it. HEY BUDDY, THAT'S NOT YOUR WORK, YOU DON'T GET TO DECIDE WHERE AND WHEN IT'S USED! *sigh* Sometimes I like screaming into the void...
Update: download BootXP here (the site's mirrors are a mess): http://www.fvip.net/bootxpsetup.exe
Uhh... Yes, you can. http://www.bootxp.net/
I have ODNT on two machines: desktop and laptop. On the laptop, I fired up Stardock Central and it updated itself and restarted, and viola', there were the message boards and the version was .90.104. Did the same to the desktop. Same version number. No message board funtion and ObjectBar still comes up "installation failed" if I try to update it. I dunno if it's me or a bug or what...where shoudl I start troubleshooting?
Hey abruti - Try not leeching. I NEVER experience server issues unless forewarned by Stardock. Then again I value a valuable company providing a valuable service, and I PAY FOR IT. *cough*
T-Man: the reason I suggest it is to make cruising wincustomize from inside SD C easier...but it's certainly not a make-or-break! It would add a usability dimension to the app, though, that made it feel more...more...well, more. Either way, it's a phenomenal app and a great idea...I was just throwing some stuff against the wall.
I am using SD Central now...I'm trying to use it to interface with SD and Wincustomize as much as possible. I have a couple of suggestions that I think would vastly improve the usability, especially to surf Wincustomize. 1. Alow us to set a homepage when the "Web Browser" section is loaded. I get the idea behind setting stardock.com, but I realy, really want to change that to wincustomize.com. Maybe make it a radio button choice? "Set your homepage: []Stardock.com []Wincustomize.com
Not when you run 5 pop-up killers AND Netcaptor at the same time. None of my websites are graphically oriented. I tend to follow the theory that websites are about information, and therefore I keep mine fairly low-tech but with a lot of back-end power. But... my blog site: http://www.starkthoughts.com my political blog: http://www.right-thoughts.us and work: http://www.marilynmanson.com
I'ev had 1337 as the last 4 digits of my home number for 5 years. The phone company thought I was nuts when I asked for the number in my new exchange, it wasn't available and I asked if I could contact the current owner. Turns out it was an outgoing-only number for some dispatch company, and they agreed to switch it out for me! No charge to them, I paidthe switch, but hey...I got my 1337.
NICE work. I love this. Karmagirl deserves a BIG raise, so EVERYBODY BUY SOMETHING FROM STARDOCK!
IN-depth advanced skinning techniques in ObjectBar and DX. Also, an exploration, in full, of Windowblinds. EVERYTHING SkinStudio can do to WB should be explored, I really think WB is the flagship and should be heavily featured. Everyone I show my laptop to wants to know "How you get those windows to look like that, that's so cool!"
mormegil: Excellent news. I LOVE the Orion set, and whenever I switch, I always switch right back because of the completeness and quality. I'd enjoy a more complete PixOS set.
I'll echo what I said in the message board: I bought it, and I'm not one to buy a suite, normally. It's VERY soothing to work with. The wall is a little *too* bland, but the skins are just so nice. I do wish there were more icons, though. There just aren't enough file types. I am sticking with Orion as my icon set, since it has just about everything a growing boy needs. I LOVE, LO

Under a hundred? My god, I spent that on the power supply alone!
