Actually, I was being silly. I found the file now and followed Multianna's suggestion. Had somehow ended up with two separate Ironclad Games folders, one under my username -and- one under "all users". Cheers :)

Same exact problem as the original poster. Since this is the first time I run the game (just downloaded it off Stardock Central), there is no Setting folder. So no file to edit.

When I start up Sins, the entire screen goes black and I am then treated to a lovely window of my regular windows desktop, just with a black square (about 1024x768 in resolution) covering the top left corner of my desktop. From my running applications, it's clear that this blob is Sins of a Solar Empire. The problem is, nothing happens. I can't press escape, I can't press the mousebutton, nothing happens. If I close the window, I get a MiniDump error and a crash to desktop. Any help possib
