A well thought out article to be sure.
Sarissi
I only mentioned one thing, not the details of the entire episode. If I posted alot more details, I could understand you all going ballistic on me.
Since SciFi Channel showed it friday night, it is not a spoiler. If you are THAT ticked off at me, why don't you report me to the mods and admins? Being banned from here cause you think I am a JERK does not bother me one bit.
What a way to end the series: Atlantis is back on Earth, outside San Fransisco Bay!!! (Cloaked)
I have a box of computer parts, though they are current and not obsolete.
Gojira as has been presented to us for all of these years, sort of grew on all of us fans. American name is Godzilla. The guy in the rubber suit has become a tradition. Personally, the hollywood CGI version was very well done. I do remember 5 Million Years to Earth. Very well done F/X for the time.
Spell checking doesn't mean much when the word is spelled correctly, BUT, it is the wrong word. As in Loose vs Lose, for instance. (one of my pet peeves)
Or, I died of Epoxy Lips (super glued my lips shut by accidrnt)
My favorites are the Lensman and Skylark series by E.E. "Doc" Smith, Ph.D., Sector General novels by James White (Sector 12 General Hospital), Pern novels by Anne and Todd McCaffrey, the Talent books by Anne McCaffrey, Darkover series by Marion Zimmer Bradley, too many books by Andre (Alice Mary) Norton - Grand Dame of science fiction, now deceased. There are the Paratime novels, of which I forgot the author's name. There is James P. Hogan who wrote the Giants series (currently 5 book
First Science Fiction books were by Jules Verne and H. G. Wells. Your best bet is to find a half price book store (used books), and/or visit your library to see what strikes a chord with you. What I like, you may not.
One week to go until the next Atlantis episode.
Opinions are like Rear End Sphincters: Everyone has one. GenBlood, definitely a wait and see thing. I just hope that they don't load Universe down with plot baggage from Atlantis and SG-1. The Alterans/Ancients stuff you can't avoid, since the ship is one of the Alterans' starships.
Publishing in bound paper format costs money, plus the additional shipping and packaging costs. Much cheaper to have manuals in PDF format.
Thank you, GW Swicord. I wish we had more variety and less of the fraggin marathons and other garbage that does not belong on the SciFi Channel. At least Eureka's viewership is growing and it gained a sponsor: Degree Ultra. Plus the current season got expanded from 13 to 21 episodes, which is great.
Keep in mind that SciFi Channel did NOT cancel SG-1 or Atlantis. MGM did. MGM owns Stargate. NBC Universal owns the SciFi Channel, and Eureka Series. NO matter how much they say that the programming decisions are left up to SciFi Channel, many of these decisions come down from the NBC Executives.
If you watched Ark of Truth and Continuum with preconcieved notions of what you expected them to be, then they don't match those notions. Sure they will be disappointing at best. In Continuum, I expected Ba'al to do what he does best, and that is being a PEST, which was certainly the case. The bits left hanging at the end of the Atlantis series will likely be used as the hooks for the 2 hour direct to DVD format.
The first paragraph is the news part.
In two weeks on SciFi Channel, the final 3 episodes will begin airing, and, if I heard correctly, this will be followed by the Series Finale. It is planned to go to 2 hour direct to DVD format after this. Next year, there is to be a new series: Stargate Universe.
Star Wars is Science Fiction.
Overclocking VOIDS the warranties. If you can't afford to replace components fried by overclocking mistakes, Don't overclock. One part most fail to mention, is a UPS/Power Conditioner.
Neither. I have no room for fruit here. Fruit spikes my blood sugar levels.
If you think about it, I would say that very few (if any) of these forum trolls have the guts to do this face to face, where they would likely get punched out.
My 'nick' is actually my True Name, in contrast to my incarnation name. Both have meaing. My incarnation name means Man like unto God from the island of The Word. My True Name has two meanings: The Lord and Great Lord.
You also have to learn to Think.
From Best in Faux (Season 3): Carter: Dogs exploding all over town. Dr. Hood: Now that is a dog show I can get into! The dogs are Biomemetic (robotic). Only 2 had problems.
