returning to the mini-dumps issue the game and the beta (which are very good in my opinion by the way) have been running fine right up until this lates patch. After installing it, when I went to load a game, I changed the difficulties a bit (to harder; I'm not a pansy) and right as the game began to load, it crashed and had this "minidump" error. Well, I think I ought to say my piece... 1. The EULA of most programs states that it is OK to modify the game that you own at your own risk; ergo no-cd/DVDs are perfectly legitimate in my book, as long as you bought/own a legit copy. 2. well, it seems to me (not that I've played as much as you peoples, and I also don't have the DA expansion yet) that the Evil AI's fall behind technologically, and they never get the chance to catch up. this would explain why the good races beat the evil ones to the militaristic punch.
