Working in a place that deals w/ customers all day.. via the phone... I know how important it is to follow through and make sure the customer knows what I've done, and what the next step will be. I receive several calls from customers verifing the previous rep's call. Did my check go through... did they request the late fee to be credited... all kinds of things. I get frustrated at times because I know that previous rep didn't fully explain everythi
I was playing w/ my granddaughter, when she did something that reminded me of my daughter. Let's just say my granddaughter is determined. My daughter was more easily explained to. I could usually reason with her even at a young age. Well, granddaughter had an expression I had seen too many times, and lol. My daughter said thank you, please, and welcome at a
I'm starting on my first pair when I get home.. You have inspired me.. I've only put it off for a yr... just didn't have the guts.... You rule!
Yes... sleeping in... no phones to answer, knitting and relaxing..just really enjoying the time to totally relax and enjoy. I've needed this.. and had a really big need to spoil grandson!
I'm in CA... San Deigo specifically. I'm spoiling, and playing w/ my 2 grandchildren. The girl is 25 months.. the boy is 4 weeks... and yes.. I had a seperate suitcase just for their stuff.. a huge duffel type bag. We have played, giggled, rocked, and spoiled. My daughter looks awesome for having had a child just 4 weeks ago. The house was clean... everything
That is awesome Mason... The ribbing looks great! You'll be wearing hand made socks in no time!
I've packed my knitting bag,, and getting ready to run... quick.. the hank... opened up goes on the swift. by pulling theend of the yarn it spins..... the winder... put thread on winder... use crank on winder it pulls thread... and makes the hank into a center pull ball... hope that helps bye!

I fly in Wed.. and return the 15th.... I've a grandson I've yet to hold! I'll try to look, but I doubt if you'll be at the places where a young mother , 2 children.. ages 2 yrs & 3 weeks, plus a very hip MeMaw will be...lol If you see above party.. w/ perhaps a 6'3" MP Marine.. (he looks the part) say hi!

I'm soo proud of you Mongo... you just rock!. I'm supposed to be packing for the trip.. i keep changing my yarn bag..lol... I have a son in law- marine that knits.. Ok... I'm officially on vacation. I've finished all the errands, and now just have to pack. I'm tired, but sooo glad I'm out of here for a few days. I usually love winter, snow,, etc.. but after spending some time in San Diego @ Christmas... it sounds wonderful. I can take 3 checked bags. I'll probably only need 2... and 1 for the return. I'm going to r
Sleep well, rest, and unwind... take care and be safe
lol that actually could be easier.. then I could use my circular needles... resein..lol but my afghan's tend to be very very big.. so... I'll agree with you..lol
Wenesday I will board a plane that will take me to my family in San Diego. I will knit while flying. I can take 14" metal needles, strong enough to cause pain, but they would be legal... I have to make sure that my fingernail clippers do not have that little file on them.. that is illegal... Ok what is wrong with the above statement? nothing... it's a fa
You could make one out of alpaca... I love that wool.... Glad you are in line for some time off... stay warm & enjoy...
As I reflect on the past few weeks, I have been able to realize a few things. The irs in person... ie.. their rep's were actually very nice. They went out of their way to help, removing the garnishment that day.. answering my questions, helping me... understanding, and actually explaing things. Now , mind you.. I wouldn't not want to go through what I went
I told him next time he orders a die he should drive up to WI and pick the damn thing up himself. Have a nice day. you realize you can't please all the people all the time.. especially ass holes. hang in there & be safe... you know who cares,, lol your knitting buddies!
Always best to hire professionals for that sort of thing. I had...it turned out that the professional.. wasn't filing.. hadn't filed for 5 yrs... he bilked a small town and surrounding areas.. and the money trail has ended up in the Caymens.... no more small businesses... H& R or myself.
hang in there Mason- as I said earlier- keep it between the ditches.. not in them..
Reply By: Dr. GuyPosted: Friday, February 02, 2007Get Turbo Tax I will for this year... At least the previous years were done by H&R due to past thinking the other guy was using similar tax program. At last count... he has 67 people who are in trouble w/ the IRS due to him. heheh they would like to
Ok that is sooonot acceptable. I can knit you a cocooon.. you can... but you need the heat to work to keep hands warm to knit. tell them in very brass tack terms that they can understand... & then lock them in the truck inthe cold and when the generator goes out.. say.. but you said it was fixed... see ya tomorrow! ok i'm bad... long day.. but at least I'm warm now. take care... good thoughts your way
Hi.. I'm home... Back from the irs. I survived. I probably don't owe... (according to H & R block who redid return, i should have gotten refund) but.. because in 2002.. not acceptable. But.. It probably will prove i dont owe anything. 2003.. I get refund, 2004 & 2005 I will pay... It will take about 6 -8 weeks to get final bill...
