I know nothing about programming. Someone else please provide the technical argument explaining why programming a mod like this would be very simple if we had the proper tools.
Maybe, if he stays at a Holiday Inn Express tonight, he'll be able to do it with ease tommorrow.

It isn't a washing machine, it didn't come with a guaranty. It is a game, it comes with support from good people, and as Kyro said they did tell you at the time of release that it was going to be sometime in June before they would get to the first patch. Hey look, its June and they did it just like they said. Grow up Flux, learn about reality. Your washing machine would go to the shop, where some nitwit repairman would screw it up worse, you would have to take it back and this would go on for mo
I quess I must be stupid. For hundreds of thousands of years, technology sat stagnant in the galaxy. Nobody designed anything new. Then fifty or so years ago, the Arceans give the Terrans the blueprints for a Stargate. After fifty years of research the Terrans come up with the Hyperdrive. Now people are bitching because it takes them more than two years to research their entire tech tree. The only bug I see here are the ants in yer pants. Good research takes time and money. If you need the high
1. Maybe this has already been fixed, if so, apologies... but one thing that always has irked me is when I place a constructor, getting ready to build a new starbase, I have to gestimate it's area of influence. I try to place my starbases so that the effect covers the maximum possible number of planets. So many times I find that one planet is just a shade outside the area of the new starbase's influence. Sure would be nice if I had an option for the constructors to show a light circle aro
Funny thing happened the other day. I live in Phoenix, and it was 108 deg. outside. So I fiqured I'd chew a piece of Dentyne Ice and a sheet of ice would envelope me, a minor blizzard would show up and a really hot chick would pick up on me, and I would have a great day. It always happens that way in the ad right, and we know ads don't lead us on, truth in advertizing and all that. And yet, no ice, no blizzard and even worse no hot chick. Just one fat sweaty old me with crappy gum, and yet I nev
I know what you mean. In my present game (recently started, not much happening,, expansion phase just kicking in)the Korx just surrendered to the Thalan (like they ever need help getting more planets). The Torians are on one side of my glorious empire and the Korx were on the other side, for one to get to the other they would have to traverse through me. The Torians declared war on the Korx, around ten rounds later the Korx fold, the Torians were just too much for them. Not one ship from either
It is in the Arcean Tech Tree, under the Advanced Battle Stations Tech. In the ship editor it is found in the modules section. It might be in another races tech tree, but I didn't see it anywhere else in my spot check of tech trees. If you aren't playing as an Arcean and you haven't traded for Advanced Battle Station Tech, then you got it by glitchcraft. (Beware my friend, many races don't tolerate glitchcraft, they may just burn you at the stake.)
Another "normal event" is just like the I-League and the Jagged edge, they are the Fundamentalists. I sometimes play as a real xenophobe and hold to my home system. The fundamentalists "revolted" and took planets from everyone, including two from me. I only had two...game over. That sucked.
when are the cd's gona ship and how can we track them once they do ship?
read reply #9....(posted on apr. 12)...add 7 days (the average week all over the world)... get Apr. 19 (also note at least) maybe longer.....read post #11.....using US snail mail.....no tracking at all (it's the goverment).....if you are in the US, then no sooner than apr. 21, if not in the US late May, early June. Does your postal servant like you....maybe even later....leave milk and cookies in you
I don't usually use the term "dumbed down" (because people fling it around so often that it has become pretty much meaningless by now), but judge for yourself. Compared to Morrowind, Oblivion has ...
Ahh... but don't stop at Morrowind, there were Daggerfall before it and Arena before that. Both of them had extensive dungeons that required you to think. With riddle locked doors and series of levers that had to be pulled in just the right sequence scattered all over the dun
With my old computer, it was on if I was home. Now, with my new computer, it's on only when I am home and awake. Why did they decide that the power buttons on the monitor and the computer need to be be made with laser blue lights that could illuminate a city block? Sure it's a studio apt. but if I leave it on I don't need to use any lights at night, at all! It is ridiculous. They are so bright I can't even see the time projected on my ceiling by my alarm clock (also blue, but much less intense).
I installed it last night and it seems to work just fine. It worked in the beta also.
Try the Kzinti.
Well, I checked out their den. It would be a bit of an ethical problem. I am looking for a logo and race images, more than an empire to join. I found no mods searching under the word Kzinti or Kilrathi either. But thanks for the suggestion.
Greetings, I have noticed a lack of feline races. I tried to use some Thundercat stuff I have but Vista and Firehand Ember 3.???? are not very compatible it seems. If someone could assemble such a package I would be thankfull. Also I guess it is time to update my imaging software and Firehand is a dead company. Any suggestions in the $50 - $70 dollar range? Of course cheaper to free is always acceptable. On a further side thought, being male I find pixilated female i
I installed Kyro's ship mod and copied design over from DA with no glitches that I can find.
Indeed... I love that word.(Spock thing). But seriously, with the ability to only activate one Mod, I have modded the mod that I modded the mod of, and then modded that. Now I am no expert in code, or the like, as I wish not to end up in prison from hacking, to curious about things and how they work and then there are those tweaks that would make it better and ooops that didn't work, what do you mean I crashed the Glactanet. But do you think my 1500% economic inherited ability or my 750% militar
So I started a gigantic galaxy with rare everthing, 8 minors, 9 majors and myself. Things are going smooth, everyone is warring for the few worlds there are. My plan was going oh so well, let them fight to exhaustion and thn pounce . My two worlds were 100% happpy as you can be. Then the Fundamentalists Mega event swept though, announced they had taken some planets and they were looking forward to working with me. So I check to see what I had to conquer back and found I had nothing but a mining
I just stockpile spys till I have 50 or so then smother the opponent with about 40 of them, replace the ones that get nullified with the leftovers an in about 6 to 8 turns you will have gained advanced knowledge and pull them all out. Build up again and hit the next guy. I just wish I could use them on the minor races, the ones that appear later in the game always seem to have the leading edge tech.
Greetings Human. They'll sell me their planets, their tech, their influence and their women. Why won't they sell me their map data? Actually they don't sell their women , but the UP insists there is a slave market tht needs to be stopped. How about the UP giving notice about the upcoming vote so I could consult and persuade the other members prior to the vote? And lastly, I want to be the pirate, bargaining with the races for ports of call for repairs and new vessels. Show me a nati
