Just doesnt have the same effect as two-tone racing strips packing heat mowing down peasants left and right. Perhaps i should have put this in the unreasonable requests thread...mods?

For starters what i usually do is a quick recon of my general area. At the earliest convenience you should invest in some sort of weapon, oak spears are a good start, also get your sov armored as soon as possible with at least a defence value of 3 or 4 (i go with all padded with traveller boots so you can cover ground faster). Getting a little bit of armor in that range should minimize damage from anything you run into for the first 20-30 turns or so. Oak/Boar spears are cheap 25 gildars
-new character: Leelo. Activates a fifth type of shard element and a new spell school. This sovereign is not permitted to wear any armor except really thin strips of white plasticy fabric. Only allowed to wield one weapon: Multipass. Also generates an annoying heavily stereotyped "hero" with sub-par acting dialogue, who is having yet another bad day, also comes with a villain with very bad hair, both of which continually get in the way of viewing

Tho i must say MP is sorta fun when you go into a 2v2, your teammate bails 2 minutes into the game, then the other team flattens the ai ally. Then they proceed to calling you a noob,loser, etc because they are so uber. Your a noob since you cant outbuild out tech and out expand them both at the same time, OR outbid them in the little pirate war which they feel was necessary since the massive fleet advantage apparently wasnt enough. Noob indeed :)

all you need to do is spam about 200 illumators or phase missle chuckers or carriers to win
