Also I'd like to point out that that is an "example" of the graphics improvement. they have improved everything. Can you imagine if they updated everything but the star bases? It would look quite out of place.

The expansion is not going to be in stores, just the bundle pack. However, if you buy the full pack and already have the original too then you can get a rebate.

Perhaps by clicking on the desired tech you could see who has it and then you'd start your negotiations for it by clicking a short-cut to the diplomacy screen.

I played from easy and kept going up difficulties until I could no longer beat them. They still play a real hard game.

Mega Events that unsettle the game like knife, Dread loads and pirats can ruin a game and make it almost unbeatable. All the community is saying is that they can ruin most games. A ruined game is not a fun one.
