HAPPY HOLIDAYS PEEPS.

If you want to see a Mac-like PC, please go to my deviantART (http://thearmbut.deviantart.com/) and look at my screenshot called MacPC.
It makes more sense that it is per machine. In the business environment, maybe. But for the consumer versions of Vista (Basic, Premium and Ultimate) it would just make more sense if MS would license copies of Vista per user, much like Apple does (however only to people who use Macs...oh well....). Even though I'm going to get Vista, it would be
Ok. Is this an easteregg in WinXP or Vista? Because I just tried looking for the "Oobe" folder inside of the WINDOWS directory. It doesn't exist.
So far I've only gotten as high as 8080...oh well, I'll keep trying. This game is pretty challenging, but its not that hard once you get used to it.
If your using WindowBlinds then just use Windows XP Style in the Skins tab.
what is your z order set at? Yeah, you might want to check your z order and set it to "Always on Top"
Personally, LightScribe is just a bit slow for my tastes. It does put out some dang good image quality however. My slimline has a LS drive on it but mostly if I dont have 45 minutes to put a really fancy label on a DVD, I just grab a sharpy.
I read somewhere that VTP6 is supposed to fix a lot of things that went wrong with 5/5.5, etc. But somehow I have a hard time believing that..............
Oops. I forgot. If your running Vista just click Start and 'start' typing msconfig. Man, I love Instant Search.
Just go to Start->Run and type "msconfig.exe". Use the "Startup" tab.
Just upgraded to an Athlon 64x2 4600+ from one of those....felt it was a bit lacking performance-wise when multi-tasking/running Vista.... The 3200+ is a good CPU for average use/basic needs, so if that's all you're wanting to do the 3200+ 'll be fine. However, if you want to run Vista at its optimum and/or multi-task alot
You will be able to know when you buy it. Who said I was gonna buy it??? Hold on....how much is it? If its cheap I'll consider... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Hmm.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmidd
I'm probably goilng to get a system with the following specs. What do you guys think? I'm all ears... AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 1GB PC3200 DDR RAM 250GB SATA II HD (3GB/s, 16MB cache) onboard 128MB Geforce6 Video (i'll upgrade...dont worry...) 7.1 Surround Sound DVD+/-RW and DVD-ROM drives Floppy Gigabit Ethernet
Ok. It says "Full 5.1 surround sound". Does it come with speakers or just support for 5.1?
It'd be better if there was an Intel Core 2 Extreme ...you know what they say...four cores are better than two!
I always use MSCONFIG
I have a question. If someone were to install WBVista (on a computer running vista,of course...), and Aero doesn't work on that specific computer, because of Video adapter issues, are per-pixel skins similar to Aero available using WBvista as they were in XP?
Ok. Thanks for clearing that up.
Will current customers of OD2007 be able to get WBVista free?
I think Vista Transformation Pack is kinda..well..unsafe. I installed VTP 5.0 on my previous PC and guess what? It gave me BlackWorm and prettymuch entirely destroyed my XP installation. So, I backed up my files by taking my HD out and putting it in another computer with antivirus on it (too bad I didn't have it on my extra PC...) and copied my important files to the other HD, then reinstalled XP on the extra PC. GRRR. I hate reinstalling XP. It takes
Will the WB beta only be running on the RTM version of Vista? Or will it run on RC2 (5744) as well? Look in the screenshot in the post just before yours. The screenshot is taken on RC1 update (5728). Also, on the screenshot on the main article, the version of Vista there is RC1 update as well. I sure
Mr VistaRevolution thanks for your comment and i am considering upgrading it soon No problem, Maged Media
Can I use this program to "take control" of another networked computer, like Remote Desktop?
I have a question about this software. My mom is very computer illiterate, so if I use Multiplicity could I assist my mom (our computers are in two separate rooms, but they are networked) with her troubles, much like a Remote Desktop setup?
