yeah...the ones that im talking about are encoded using MPEG-2.
Armbut
Oh......I just saw a 21%. Seems to be goin down a little, it doesn't go above 30 now. Wow, I wonder what happened while I was at school today...
Yeah...a score of 4.2 isn't really something to brag about.
Oh by the way, I am running a dual-monitor display of 1280x1024 each, BUT even if I disconnect/deconfigure the second monitor and only use one, I still have high CPU usage. It's just annoying seeing it ALWAYS above 25%
Okay, here's my problem. I've used a few DeskScapes from here, and the one included with Windows Dreamscene. ALL of the animated wallpapers have caused my CPU to go beserk. It hovers at anywhere from 25-40% all the time, with just Firefox and Windows Sidebar running on my machine. I thought that Aero was supposed to take advantage of advanced graphics cards instead of CPU, and pushing all the energy needed to create cool glassy effects onto the GPU instead. Last time I checked, I needed A
exactly.
It's the echo Armbut. Yeah. Yeah. Echoes are evil. Echoes are evil. Just like Microsoft (at times). That just doesn't need repeating.
there are no black dots, its an optical illusion.......and a pretty good one at that ...........................................................

Vista Home Premium full-time baby!

could it be the alpha?
the XP version of IE7's tabs are skinned by some skins, but i dont remember if Vista's IE7 is......
My Dell Dimension C521 is kinda messed up It comes with a nVidia GeForce 6150 LE integrated chip but also comes with an ATI Radeon X1300Pro, which I am using as my default card...it kicks some serious arse...I really dont care about brands as long as it works great.
There are cheaper ways to get Ultimate. Sure, it's going to be more expensive in it's retail box, but through Windows Anytime Upgrade and the OEM routes, you can save some cash. For example, my new Dell Dimension C521 came with Windows Vista Home Premium preinstalled. All I have to do to get Ultimate is borrow my mom's credit card, go to Windows Anytime Upgrade, spend around $50-$100 and get a Windows Anytime Upgrade DVD in the mail. Then, use that disc to install Ultimate. Bingo. <
Okay, thanks for all the comments guys. The price tag (that i forgot to mention) is $679.97
Okay...I posted a forum post a while back that asked for recommendations and opinions on a possible PC that I was going to get. I knocked that one out of the way and now have my eye on another. I think it is a fairly good deal, I just want a second (or more) opinion. Thanks and here are the specs: Main Specs: Processor: Dual Core-AMD Athlon 4200+ (2.2GHz) RAM: 1GB
So, any Ultimate Extras for RC1?
Will customers running Windows Vista RC1 still be able to download and use Vista Ultimate Extras? Not saying that I'm running it...I'm using RTM. My cousin is using RC1 and is worried about VUE's...
AAAAAAHHHH!!!!! ITS A BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!!!!! I got one of these on my Vista PC yesterday...shhh...dont tell...
