I'm wondering if anyone has ever thought about how much earth's atmosphere would warm up if we'd plaster all of Sahara with solar panels. Can you say Reflexion...?
Finally, at least *some* demonstrable criteria that would cause a rethinking of at least one skeptics position.
Or of at least one AGW activist's if nothing like this happens at all...
Hmm, I've posted that before but it vanished. To make it short: As an example of how seriously politicians in Germany take the "climate change" they want to force people to drive just 100 km/h to reduce CO2 emission. In the same moment they allow 4 more coal fueled power plants to be built of which ONE emits as much CO2 in a day as all cars in Germany combined when driving at 200 km/h 24/7 ... Not to mention the hillarious fact that all the oh so afraid folks at the co
1. Pool of Radiance 2 2. Temple of Elemental Evil Concerning MoO3 I have to say that after applying some Mods I actually got a lot of fun out of it... Still was a big disappointment as is though...
Well, maybe my stance on this stems from the fact that I usually ignore posts that I consider to be not worthy the effort of replying and/or shake my head in silence. But I certainly would not come to my mind to tell him/her:"Uh, bad motherf...! I'm gonna report you to the mods!" But your mileage may vary... Be it as it is. It also happens often enough that the fanbois gangbang folks with a different opinion unwarrantedly. And that's gonna be my final comment on that issue.
Well Allegiance, you have to admit that SG-1 was pretty much of a "switch brain off and enjoy the ride" show. I wouldn't go as far as stating that was dumb, but it certainly wasn't providing any form of intellectual challenge either. Personally I liked it nevertheless. Even though I'm usually not very fond of militaristic shows. And calling someone a troll, flamer or bully for stating an opinion that differs from your's and especially threatening to report him t
the DLC is what.....$7? How is this a big deal?
In that you obviously don't actually GET it. Over at the Dragon Age Board peeps are outraged by the fact that they can't dl the content they have paid for. Typically EA, if you ask me...
I'll wait till shortly before X-Mas before buying it. First off coz I won't have the time to play it till then anyway and secondly coz till then major probs that might arise, once more people are actually playing it, might be already solved.
It´s sad he is not around anymore
Yeah. Same as with Raoul Julia...
both shows had some of the best characters (or actors?) in entire scifi genre (Sheridan, Garibaldi, Mollari in B5 and Sisko, Garak, Gul Dukat and O´Brien in DS9)
Agreed. Though I think it's the synergy of great actors, great writing, and well thought out character development that was the key to their success. Btw, how could you not mention G'Kar(Andreas Katsulas)?! This is close to blasphemy! ;) It wasn't much before season 3 though that I came to like D
Hrm, ... On the DA board over at bioware many have complained about the graphics being quite crappy/outdated. Especially on consoles. But when I've bought my copy I'm gonna see for myself. I'll just wait to see what other issues arise in terms of bugs and other probs before I purchase it.
actual faults the show had, like repeating the same story arcs over with a new badguy
Yep, that's why I got kind of bored with the last couple of seasons... Not even bringing in Farscape actors and the adorable Morena Baccarin from Firefly could compensate for the lame repetetiveness.
Babylon 5 was Star Trek with more fighting. dont remember it being funny or all that popular...[/quot
Update: Okay, I managed to create a new one after I had closed my browser completely and tried again. BUT: Go to page 2 and 80% of the threads are those from page 1.Sometimes in tmultipage threads there are no means of navigating through the various pages. And so on etc. etc. Changing the forum to a new beta upon the game's release is idiotic to say the least.
ROFL! This is fuckin' rediculous and typical for EA driven shit! I can't log in to the DA forum with my Bioware forum account credentials (which worked on their old DA forum, btw), and I can't create a new account there either (Error creating EA Account)! If the game is as good as their new forum...
BSG, B5, Firefly
Errr ... when and how was BSG funny? *scratcheshead* I'd say: B5, Firefly, ST:TNG And yes, the number of seasons it ran does not equal it's entertainment value.
Killing off main characters is just TERRIBLE idea.
*LOL* Go watch LOST then. Happens there all the time...
I agree with everyone who stated the Light ep was awfully predictable. I saw every bit of it coming. Even the "Oh! We're at the verge of getting roasted, so let's fuck each other's brains out!" bit, and that Eli would NOT be the one getting laid. The only part I was wrong in was that it was Chloe the pilot dude humped. I thought it'd be the soldier chick he did in that other ep. But honestly, isn't she being like every other girl? Chloe to attractive total stranger: "W
No it isn't. As was mentioned before, the lower price of the download in conjunction with the online serial compared to the boxed version is perfectly okay coz you don't get a box, a disc, and a printed manual and the likes. Okay, if you buy an EA sports product boxed you don't get a printed manual either, but that's just on a side note. ;)
As it stands now, I'm gonna stop watching it after the next episode until the season finale. And I definitely won't be hanging at the edge of my seat until then. With Atlantis it was quite the opposite. Liked it at first, couldn't stand watching it later. And the fact that it was cancelled after season five seems to indicate I wasn't the only one.
Sacred 2 scared me off with the DRM.
Yep, same here... If it wouldn't have been for a college pal of mine I wouldn't have touched Sacred 1 either for the same reason you gave.
The delay is most probably due to EA trying to pull another DRM stunt. MUHAHAHAHAHA...!!! [e digicons]}:)[/e] [e digicons];P[/e]
First-off I also loved WC and Privateer. Secondly, about X3:TC: IIRC it comes with Tages DRM. And concerning Freelancer: If it doesn't bother you that it kills every other kind of media player than windows media player upon installation, go ahead and try it.
Oh gee! I really don't remember which one was the first. I do think however it was Bard's Tale III: Thief of Fate. Funnily enough I do remember some details about the game itself. Like that my wizard died in the fight against the first big baddy before the summoned Brothers Kringle and my rogue killed him. And when he got resurrected he suddenly was an archmage. :D Never managed to play it to the end though. I got stuck in some maze between universes or such and never found m
I played a game named "Real Life" and had a date with a girl I'm now together with. We didn't have sex in Oblivion, but it felt like in paradise. :D
I read a review a few hours ago. It got like 51%...
